About the Role

We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven, business-to-business, Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team as our first dedicated sales hire. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients, responsible for generating qualified leads and booking introductory appointments for our Account Executives.

You will be selling a cutting-edge Custom AI Intelligent Voice Assistant (IVA) solution targeting transportation software companies, NEMT providers, dispatch operations, fleet management, and inbound call center businesses.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their sales career who is motivated by earning potential, resume-building, and working with innovative AI technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls to prospective clients using provided call lists and Sales Navigator

  • Identify and qualify the right decision-makers within target organizations

  • Book qualified introductory appointments for the sales team using scheduling tools (Calendly / MS Office)

  • Make outbound calls through our corporate VoIP/Dialpad system

  • Research and reach out to targeted clients through Sales Navigator

  • Consistently follow up with leads until they schedule appointments

  • Coordinate with marketing on LinkedIn outreach campaigns to support lead generation

  • Meet or exceed daily call quotas and monthly appointment-setting targets

  • Contribute feedback on lead quality and script effectiveness to continuously improve outreach

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $40K-$50K depending on experience

  • Structure: Salary plus bonuses and commissions

  • Appointment Incentive: Bonuses per qualified appointment set & commission on closed sales

  • On-Target Earnings: $50K–$90K+ depending on performance

Qualifications

  • Based in Arizona

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (recent graduates encouraged to apply) but not required

  • Strong verbal communication skills — articulate, confident, and persuasive

  • Resilient and comfortable with rejection; thrives in a high-volume outbound environment

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting

  • Genuine interest in sales as a career path

  • Experience with CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or VoIP systems is a plus

  • Familiarity with NEMT, SaaS, fleet, or call center industries is a bonus but not required

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is hungry, humble, and smart. You don't wait to be told what to do — you pick up the phone, follow the process, and push through the noise. You're not deterred by a "no" because you know the next call could be the one. You're building your career and you want to earn while you do it.

Tools You'll Use

  • Dialpad – Call logging and VoIP

  • Calendly – Appointment scheduling

  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator – Prospecting

  • Zip Info – Contact list sourcing

Not a Fit If

  • You are not based in Arizona

  • You are uncomfortable with high-volume outbound calling

  • You need a structured team around you to stay motivated

  • You require employer visa sponsorship for work authorization (now or in the future)

We are an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
