About The Groove

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated, curious, and resilient SDR/BDR to help expand our reach and generate new business opportunities. 

Role Overview 

The BDR is the front line of The Groove’s sales organization. This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients; creating strong first impressions in the market; and helping build a healthy pipeline for Client Relationship Executives and sales leadership. 

This is a great fit for someone who is proactive, organized, comfortable with outreach, and eager to build a career in sales within a collaborative, high-growth consulting environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

Qualifications 

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, recruiting, customer success, account management, or another customer-facing role. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to be clear, concise, and professional in outreach. 
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and communicate value in a way that feels authentic and relevant to the prospect. 
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple leads, follow-ups, and priorities at once. 
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment. 
  • Experience with CRM and sales engagement tools preferred; HubSpot experience is a plus. 
  • Experience in consulting, technology, Workday, SaaS, professional services, or partner-led sales environments is helpful but not required. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
