About Aleph

Aleph is an AI-native platform for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), an established software category with a multi-billion market but no clear winner. We’re trying to solve a problem many finance teams are super familiar with: data scattered across a million systems, endless spreadsheets and way too much time spent getting numbers to line up instead of actually using them to make decisions.

Aleph was founded by Albert Gozzi and Santiago Perez De Rosso, two technical founders with backgrounds from Stanford and MIT and experience working at top-tier companies such as Google, Microsoft and Bain & Company. We’re backed by top VCs (Khosla Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures, YC, Picus Capital), and work with customers like Webflow, Notion, Zapier, Y Combinator and many others.

We are hiring remotely across the Americas (United States, Canada, LATAM).

🔍 What we’re looking for

As one of the early members of our Business Development team, you'll own the top of that funnel: finding the right companies, reaching the right people, and turning cold outreach into qualified pipeline our Account Executives can close.
This is a pure outbound, hunter role. You're not working inbound leads or waiting on marketing hand-offs -- you're creating interest from a cold start through sharp targeting and a strategic, multichannel motion. High-performing BDRs at Aleph have a clearly defined Path to AE, and we invest heavily in coaching and development to get you there.

👷 What you’ll be doing
  • Build targeted account and contact lists that fit our ICP, including executive-level decision-makers -- precision over volume

  • Run a strategic, multichannel outbound motion (call, email, social) with personalized messaging that earns a qualified meeting

  • Qualify rigorously against our ideal-customer criteria so every meeting you hand an AE is a real opportunity

  • Stay close to your sourced deals after the hand-off so booked meetings turn into real, advancing pipeline

  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quota

  • Partner closely with AEs and marketing, and feed what you learn in the field back into how we sell

📝 What you have
  • 1–2 years of sales or business development experience, ideally outbound

  • A genuine love for picking up the phone and a hunter's mentality -- you'd rather create a meeting than wait for one

  • Proven examples of using AI to work smarter; you reach for modern tools to research faster, personalize at scale, and get more out of every hour

  • Strong written and verbal communication, and the judgment to tailor it to each prospect

  • Diligence, attention to detail, and a love for data

  • A growth mindset and a collaborative, low-ego approach; you share what's working, take feedback well, and want to level up alongside your team

  • Ownership and the drive to grow with a fast-moving startup

  • Bonus if you have a finance background

While this is a remote-first opportunity, we're focusing on candidates within the Americas to better align with our working hours as a team.
