As a Business Development Representative, you'll introduce prospective clients to our services by researching businesses, building your own lead pipeline, and engaging business owners through phone and email outreach.

You'll receive a structured five-week sales training program focused on our services, sales process, and proven approach to helping clients succeed. We're looking for sales professionals with a track record of generating opportunities, building relationships, and achieving results who are ready to continue growing their careers in digital marketing sales.

Compensation 

$60,000 annual base pay + uncapped commission

Our compensation plan rewards both new sales and long-term client success through:

  • 15%-30% commission on new business
  • Up to $450 contract bonus per sale
  • 1%-11% recurring commission on eligible client management fees during the client's first 24 months with Logical Position

What You’ll Do

  • Cold call, email, and prospect businesses to build a qualified pipeline, generate new business opportunities, and drive revenue
  • Qualify prospects through consultative discovery to understand their business, marketing challenges, and budgets to ensure sales efforts prioritize opportunities that align with the company’s services and approved industries
  • Clearly communicate and sell Logical Position's value proposition, demonstrating how our digital marketing services, expertise, technology, and partnerships can help prospective clients improve performance and grow their business
  • Own and consistently achieve individual sales goals, including expectations around new revenue, closed business, qualified pipeline generation, productivity, and other key performance metrics
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and timely sales notes to ensure clear follow-up, reliable pipeline tracking, and an organized, consistent sales process
  • Adhere to company sales policies, procedures, and ethical standards by accurately representing services, pricing, and expected outcomes; making only authorized commitments

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of sales, business development, customer acquisition, or revenue-generating experience.
  • Experience engaging prospective customers through outbound outreach, including phone and email.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships, uncover customer needs, and communicate value effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow-up activities.
  • Basic technical aptitude and the ability to learn CRM systems, sales tools, and new technology.
  • Coachable mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Strong ethical judgment and integrity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • B2B sales experience.
  • Experience selling to business owners or other decision-makers.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

  • Paid Time Off: You will accrue 14 days in your first year with increases in tenure.

  • Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance: Eligible following 60 days of employment, and LP will cover up to 75% for the employee premium depending on the plan that you select.
  • 401(k) Match: Eligible following 90 days of employment. LP matches 100% of the first 4% of income contributed.
