About the Job:As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at DTEX Systems, you will play a critical role in driving pipeline growth for our insider risk and data protection solutions. This role combines inbound lead qualification with strategic outbound prospecting, ensuring we connect with organizations that need to secure their workforce and prevent data loss. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to convert interest into qualified opportunities and create demand in target accounts.
What You’ll Do:
  • Execute outbound prospecting into target accounts using tools like Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and demo requests to ensure ICP fit.
  • Personalize outreach via email, phone, and social to generate interest and book meetings for assigned territory.
  • Partner with Marketing to follow up on campaigns and provide feedback on messaging effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities and dispositions in Salesforce for pipeline visibility.
  • Meet and exceed KPIs for calls, emails, meetings booked, and pipeline contribution.
  • Collaborate with Sales to ensure smooth handoff and alignment on account strategy.

What You’ll Bring:
  • 1+ year in a BDR/SDR role (cybersecurity experience a plus).
  • Outbound Prospecting Expertise: Comfortable with cold calling, email outreach, and social selling.
  • Inbound Lead Handling: Ability to quickly qualify and convert marketing-generated leads.
  • Tools Proficiency: Experience with Outreach.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Salesforce
  • Research & Personalization: Skilled at account research and crafting tailored messaging.
  • Strong Communication: Clear, concise verbal and written skills.
  • Objection Handling: Ability to use frameworks like ART (Acknowledge, Respond, Transition) on your calls and meetings with prospects.
  • Curiosity & Coachability: Eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Resilience: Comfortable with high-volume outreach and rejection.
  • Cybersecurity Basics: Understanding of insider risk, data loss prevention, and compliance concepts.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to identify pain points and align DTEX’s value proposition.
  • Account-Based Selling: Familiarity with targeting enterprise accounts and multi-threading.
  • Proven ability to hit KPIs: activity metrics, meetings booked and qualified, and pipeline contribution
  • Experience working closely with Sales and Marketing teams for campaign execution.
