Ready to sell the future of US dental care?

Teero is looking for a Business Development Rep to join our Austin team and drive adoption of our newest products. If you're a natural on the phone, love opening doors, and want to sell something dental offices actually need, we want to talk.

About Teero

The $160B+ dental industry still runs on fax machines and phone tag—we're fixing that. We're an AI-native company building the operating system for modern dental offices, starting with staffing and expanding into revenue cycle management, patient billing, and beyond. Backed by Construct Capital with thousands of offices and hygienists using our platform monthly, we're growing fast across the country—and we're just getting started.

About the Role

You'll be our first BDR, working in-person from our Austin office, focused on one of the biggest opportunities in our business: expanding what Teero does for the thousands of dental offices that already use our staffing platform. These offices know us and trust us—your job is to show them how our revenue cycle management products can help them get paid faster, reduce claim denials, and grow their revenue.

You'll be the first conversation offices have about our RCM products, understanding their pain points and qualifying them to speak with our Head of Sales. This isn't cold outreach into the void—you're reaching out to offices that already have a relationship with Teero, which means you start every conversation with built-in credibility.

Because we're AI-native, you'll have tools and workflows that make you wildly efficient—better data on which offices to call, when to call them, and what to say. The BDRs who thrive here are the ones who combine relentless phone activity with smart, targeted outreach.

As Teero grows, so will you.

What You'll Own
  • Reach out to existing Teero marketplace customers to introduce our revenue cycle management products

  • Understand each office's billing pain points and qualify them for deeper sales conversations

  • Book and queue meetings for our Head of Sales with qualified, engaged prospects

  • Build and refine outreach playbooks—sequences, talk tracks, objection handling—that make the whole team better

  • Use AI-powered tools to prioritize outreach and personalize your approach at scale

  • Partner with operations and product teams to sharpen our understanding of what offices need

  • Track and report on pipeline metrics, conversion rates, and customer feedback

What You Bring
  • A track record of winning—this shouldn't be your first job, but we care far more about your drive than your years of experience

  • You love the phones. Not tolerate—love. You're energized by conversations and unfazed by rejection

  • Exceptional communication skills: you can explain complex products simply and build trust fast

  • Naturally curious—you ask great questions and genuinely want to understand the customer's world

  • Self-motivated and competitive: you set your own pace and it's faster than everyone else's

  • Organized and disciplined with your pipeline—you follow up relentlessly and nothing falls through the cracks

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and the pace of a fast-growing startup

Ideal backgrounds:
  • BDR/SDR at a high-growth SaaS or marketplace company

  • Former entrepreneurs who know how to hustle and sell

  • Early-stage startup operators who've worn multiple hats

  • Anyone who's sold something and was great at it

Nice-to-haves:
  • Experience selling into healthcare or dental practices

  • Familiarity with revenue cycle management, medical billing, or insurance claims

  • Experience with CRM tools and sales automation

This Role Isn't for You If:
  • You're uncomfortable making a high volume of calls every day

  • You prefer inbound leads handed to you rather than building your own pipeline

  • You're not excited about wearing multiple hats and doing whatever it takes

  • You're uncomfortable with ambiguity and rapid change

  • You only want remote work—this role is in-person at our Austin HQ

What We Offer
  • Be the first BDR at Teero—foundational impact on how we sell new products

  • Sell into a warm base of thousands of offices that already trust Teero—not cold outreach from scratch

  • Be on the ground floor of our RCM product expansion with direct impact on revenue growth

  • Direct reporting to our Head of Sales in our flat, collaborative Austin office

  • Mentorship in a no-ego startup with direct access to our founders Nate & Christian

  • Competitive salary + commission + equity that could translate into life-changing value as we grow

  • AI-powered sales tools that make you more efficient than BDRs at companies ten times our size

  • The energy of a growing Austin HQ where sales, operations, and engineering work side-by-side

About the Team

We're a compact, high-performing team led by co-founders Nate and Christian, former Uber executives who launched and scaled product lines globally. Both grew up in dental families and maintain deep industry connections, giving us the insights to build faster and smarter.

Our team includes early employees from Uber, Adyen, Yandex, and Google. We're operators and engineers who've built and scaled tech platforms from the ground up.

We value people who take ownership without making excuses, who constantly raise the bar, and who lead with empathy by seeing challenges through the eyes of our customers and teammates.
