The Business Development Representative engages in outbound sales to generate leads, set meetings, and support outside sales teams using various sales tools.
The summary above was generated by AI

This is an entry-level outbound role focused on generating qualified leads and booked meetings for our outside sales team. You'll prospect into manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, and related industries, navigate organizations to reach the right decision-makers, and build the top-of-funnel pipeline that drives closed business.

Strong performance opens a clear path to promotion into one of two specialized sales tracks based on your strengths and interests.

What you'll do

  • Generate leads through outbound channels: cold calls, personalized email, LinkedIn outreach, and occasional in-person warehouse visits
  • Navigate complex organizations to identify and engage key decision-makers across procurement, operations, and supply chain
  • Set 5+ qualified meetings per week for outside sales reps
  • Run and manage agentic outbound campaigns including personalized sequences and follow-ups
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and collaborate with sales and ops teams to ensure quality handoffs
  • Contribute to refining prospecting strategies based on results and feedback

What we're looking for

  • A self-starter who is comfortable with high-volume outbound activity (200+ calls per week)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor outreach to different personas
  • Organized and metrics-driven with a willingness to learn and iterate
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, ZoomInfo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus but not required
  • Eagerness to build a foundation in B2B sales and grow into a specialized role

Not a fit if you need a warm pipeline handed to you or aren't comfortable with the volume and repetition of early-stage prospecting.

Competitive base plus commission tied to qualified meetings and closed pipeline.
