As a Business Development Representative, you will focus on outbound prospecting, qualifying leads, and building a pipeline for Altitude's growth by leveraging AI and various communication channels.

About Altitude

Stablecoins crossed $300 billion in circulation. Real businesses now use them for cross-border settlements, contractor payments, treasury operations.

The fintech playbook assumed rails were fixed - you couldn't change ACH or SWIFT, only build better interfaces on top. Stablecoins change the rails themselves, creating an opening for a new generation of financial products.

Altitude is what we're building to capture it. Business accounts on stablecoin rails: global accounts, cross-border payments, cards, invoicing, yield. Over 500 businesses use it today. Built by Squads (Squads Multisig secures $10B+ on Solana). Backed by Haun, Multicoin, Solana, Coinbase, Electric Capital, Placeholder and others.

More on the thesis here.

The Role

You’re the person who opens every door. Your job is to find the right companies, reach them at the right moment, and fill the pipeline that drives Altitude’s growth.

The role of a BDR has fundamentally changed. You’ll partner directly with GTM Engineering to build an AI-powered outbound machine: identifying perfect-fit accounts, timing outreach to real signals, and running multi-channel campaigns across email, Telegram, X, LinkedIn, cold calls, DMs, and beyond. The goal is to spend most of your day on calls, qualifying real opportunities and handing them to the sales team ready to close.

We’re not repeating the old outbound playbook. We’re building a new one: signal-driven, AI-native, and designed for a product that lives on the frontier of the future of financial operations. You’ll help define what the AI-native outbound playbook looks like as the team scales.

What You’ll Own

Outbound Prospecting

  • Run high-volume outbound across email, Telegram, X, LinkedIn, cold calls, and DMs. Every channel is your channel

  • Build and execute AI-powered multi-touch sequences that get responses, not just impressions

  • Test messaging, channels, and cadences constantly. What worked last month might not work next month

  • Partner with the GTM Engineer to build and refine the systems that power your outreach: Apollo, Attio, and whatever else gets results

Research & Targeting

  • Identify high-fit accounts across the stablecoin and broader crypto ecosystem

  • Surface new ICPs where stablecoin-native business banking can solve real pain points

  • Use AI to identify high-intent signals across various data sources to spot the perfect moment to reach out, not just the right company

  • Know the ecosystem cold: who’s raising, who’s launching, who’s hiring, who just got funded

Qualification & Handoff

  • Keep a packed calendar of qualification calls. If you’re not on a call, you’re booking the next one

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads against Altitude’s ICP before they hit the pipeline

  • Run initial conversations that surface real pain points around treasury, payments, and yield

  • Hand off qualified opportunities to AEs with full context: who they are, what they need, why now

Field Presence

  • Occasionally attend crypto conferences and side events to generate pipeline in person

  • Support AEs at dinners, roundtables, and 1:1s when an extra set of hands makes the trip more productive

You Might Be Right For This If
  • You’re relentless about activity. Volume isn’t something anyone needs to coach you on

  • You’ve done this before and you know how to get strangers to respond by hitting them at the right time with the right message

  • You’re genuinely curious about stablecoins, onchain finance, and the companies building in this space

  • You know how to build a machine that can write highly personalized cold emails and DMs at scale

  • You’re AI-native: you’re already using AI to write faster, research smarter, and automate the tedious stuff

  • You’re organized despite the chaos. Your CRM is clean, your follow-ups are on time, your pipeline is real

  • You don’t need to be told what to do next. You see a gap, you fill it

  • You want to be an AE. This role is the fastest path to one

Requirements
  • 2+ years of professional experience with meaningful exposure to outbound sales, business development, or a hustle-intensive role

  • Crypto-native and stablecoin-obsessed. You believe the future of business finance runs on stablecoins, and you can talk about it with conviction. This is non-negotiable

  • Strong written communication. You’ll write hundreds of messages a week. They need to be sharp

  • Comfortable with CRM tools, sequencing platforms (Apollo), and AI-powered workflows

  • US-based. Willingness to travel for key conferences and events

Why This Might Be Interesting

Most BDR roles are about smiling, dialing, and reading a script someone else wrote. This one isn’t. You’d be building the outbound motion for a category that doesn’t have one yet. AI has fundamentally changed the playbooks for outbound. You get to write what the new version looks like. If you’re successful, many companies will copy what we build.

You’ll work directly with marketing, sales, GTM engineering, and senior leadership. You will have real input into how Altitude acquires customers and will build skills that compound fast. If you’re a builder who’s really good at sales and growth, and you want to be at a company where the ceiling is high, this is the role for you.
