We're Hiring: Business Development Representative

We're looking for a Business Development Representative to generate qualified pipeline and drive institutional partnerships across EdVisorly's growing college and university network.

As EdVisorly's BDR, you'll sit at the intersection of sales, marketing, and partnerships — and you'll be the first conversation we have with institutions. You'll engage college and university decision-makers through strategic outbound, translating enrollment trends and market signals into compelling, personalized outreach that opens doors for our Partnerships team.

This role is ideal for an early-career professional who thrives on clear goals and measurable outcomes, loves crafting messaging that earns attention from busy people, and wants to build deep expertise in the higher education market. There is strong opportunity for this role to grow into a Director of Partnerships, Partnership Success, or Marketing position as EdVisorly scales.

What You'll Do:

  • Generate qualified meetings with decision-makers across Admissions, Enrollment, Registrar, Transfer, Advising, and Student Success at colleges and universities

  • Build and maintain targeted account lists aligned to EdVisorly's ideal customer profile

  • Translate enrollment trends, policy changes, and market signals into personalized, compelling outreach

  • Execute multi-channel outbound cadences (email, cold calling, LinkedIn) with discipline and consistency

  • Maintain 100% CRM accuracy and contribute to pipeline reviews with the Director of Partnerships

  • Feed market intelligence back to Marketing and Partnerships to sharpen our go-to-market strategy

  • Help build the repeatable prospecting playbooks and workflows that scale with us

  • Convert inbound leads from webinars, conferences, campaigns, and referrals into qualified meetings in partnership with the Partnerships and Marketing teams

  • Engage decision-makers across Admissions, Enrollment Management, Registrar, Transfer, Advising, and Student Success functions at colleges and universities nationwide

You Might Be a Fit If...

✅ You have 1–2+ years in a BDR, SDR, admissions, enrollment, fundraising, recruiting, or similar high-accountability outbound role

✅ You are an exceptional written communicator — concise, personalized messaging that earns attention from busy higher ed leaders

✅ You are competitive, self-motivated, and resilient — energized by measurable goals and clear feedback loops

✅ You have strong organizational habits: excellent CRM hygiene, consistent follow-through, and daily execution discipline

✅ You are comfortable using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) for research, personalization, and productivity

✅ You are an effective async communicator who thrives in a remote, fast-moving environment

Bonus Points if you have...

⭐ Experience in SaaS, edtech, higher education, or B2B enterprise sales

⭐ Proficiency with HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Clay, Gong, or similar tools

⭐ Familiarity with outbound workflows: cold email, cold calling, multi-threaded account-based prospecting

⭐ Genuine interest in student mobility, transfer pathways, and equity in higher education

⭐ Aspiration to grow into a Director of Partnerships, Partnership Success, or Marketing role
