As a Business Development Representative, you’ll play a pivotal role in the Digital Supply Chain Business Unit. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, qualifying, and closing deals with key strategic retail accounts. Strategic accounts will be market leaders in their space, key enablers of our go to market strategy. You will develop relationships with decision makers, influencers, and champions in your accounts to establish an in-depth understanding of their organization, the problems they are solving for and develop relevant phased approaches from initial pilots toward large scale adoption. You will provide insights and perspective to Business Development Executive and to validate and refine our go to market strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Identify relevant leads in key retail target accounts and engage them using modern tools
  • Address and qualify inbound leads, guide them accordingly toward the next steps in their journey
  • Generate interest through outbound cold calling, leveraging network, professional social media 
  • Develop organizational knowledge and relationships to build account specific strategies
  • Build credibility and trust with internal and external partners
  • Highly organized with a strategy on prioritization of your prospects and time
  • Close deals with partners and customers, own associated revenue forecast
  • Be an ambassador of Wiliot, with a focus on value for specific target use cases
  • Develop and leverage industry knowledge to help refine focus on relevant use cases
  • 10% travel 

Requirements

  • 1-3+ years of experience sourcing new business through outbound prospecting efforts
  • CRM & sales pipeline management experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and sales pipeline deal management to close 
  • Innovative technology selling experience 
  • Ability to learn, digest and articulate complex technologies in simple terms
  • Proven ability to work creatively with customers to address their challenges
  • Flexible and agile in responding to evolving business priorities and dealing with ambiguity
  • Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement
  • Enthusiastic and creative attitude with the ability to inspire others
  • Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Bachelors degree required
