But we’re not just about convenience—we’re about impact. By streamlining logistics and digitizing the supply chain, we’re helping reduce waste, cut emissions, and build a cleaner, more sustainable future for everyone. Whether you're managing a small job site or a major development project, Downstream is here to help you keep things moving—efficiently, affordably, and responsibly.

Let’s build better, together.

About the Role

We’re looking for a high-energy, high-activity Business Development Representative to own the top of our funnel. This is a pure hunting role — your job is to create pipeline, open doors, and generate qualified opportunities for our Account Executives.

If you’re the type that doesn’t wait for leads, thrives on outbound, and wants to control your own income through activity and results — this role is built for you.

What You’ll Do
  • Make high-volume outbound calls (75–125+ per day)
  • Prospect into targeted accounts via phone, email, LinkedIn, and field outreach
  • Identify and qualify decision-makers (GCs, project managers, ops leaders, etc.)
  • Set qualified meetings and demos for Account Executives
  • Build and manage a net-new pipeline within our ICP
  • Track all activity and pipeline in CRM
  • Work closely with AEs to convert opportunities into closed business
  • Continuously refine messaging and talk tracks based on what’s working
What Success Looks Like
  • 300–500+ outbound activities per week
  • Consistent pipeline generation (qualified meetings booked weekly)
  • Strong conversion from conversation → meeting → opportunity
  • Ability to break into net-new accounts and create real opportunities

Requirements

Who You Are
  • Relentless work ethic — you don’t need to be told to pick up the phone
  • Comfortable with rejection and know how to push through it
  • Competitive — you want to win, not just participate
  • Clear communicator with a blue-collar, direct style
  • Organized and accountable — you own your numbers
  • 0–2 years experience in sales (or proven grit in another field)
Nice to Have
  • Experience in construction, logistics, or service-based industries
  • Familiarity with outbound tools (Dialpad, ZoomInfo, Apollo, etc.)
  • CRM experience (preferably Zoho CRM)
Compensation
  • Base + uncapped commission
  • Clear path to promotion into Account Executive role
  • High performers will move up fast
Why Join Us
  • You’ll learn how to build pipeline the right way
  • Real opportunity to move into a closing role quickly
  • No fluff — results-driven culture where output = opportunity
Bottom Line
This is not a “sit back and wait for leads” role.
If you want to grind, learn fast, and build a career in sales, this is your shot.
