ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Salesforce & Data Tools
- Build and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards based on business requirements and user needs, gathered directly from stakeholders across the organization.
- Leverage AI tools such as Claude to create reports, analyses, data visualizations, and tools that extend beyond traditional Salesforce capabilities.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues as they arise, utilizing tools such as Salesforce, Claude, Excel, and Tableau. Collaborate with our Data Operations team as needed to investigate and address root causes.
Process Improvement & Project Management
- Evaluate business processes, gather and document requirements, and work with peers within the Data and Technology team to implement solutions that drive efficiency.
- Lead ongoing reviews and improvements of priority business processes across departments, partnering closely with department leads to understand needs and drive alignment.
- Serve as both project lead and project team member depending on the initiative, managing projects independently from planning through completion, including regular communication of project status with relevant stakeholders.
- Manage competing priorities and resources while monitoring deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and incorporate feedback to validate that solutions meet business needs before deployment.
Documentation & Training
- Translate data findings and process knowledge to support the Technology Enablement team in producing formal documentation.
- Conduct meetings and presentations to share findings and next steps, and effectively communicate insights to stakeholders ranging from individual contributors to senior leadership.
- Coach and guide end users on Salesforce reporting and interpreting data outputs to build data literacy across the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field and/or comparable work experience.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in business analysis, data operations, or a related field; nonprofit experience preferred.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills with a natural curiosity and drive to explore new approaches and tools.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Advanced technical skills related to databases and data visualization tools, including Salesforce, Tableau, and Excel.
- Experience with or openness to leveraging AI tools to enhance reporting and analysis.
- Experience creating detailed reports and speaking to audiences ranging from individual contributors to senior leadership.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proven track record of leading and supporting projects independently, following-through on commitments, and managing competing priorities.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- A collaborative team player who builds strong relationships across departments.
