Role Overview

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst specializing in Power BI to join our growing team. In this role, you will transform complex data from our Salesforce CRM, financial, and operational systems into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across Telestream's product, sales, and customer success organizations. You will serve as the primary owner of our Power BI environment and act as the internal business reporting expert, building dashboards, automating reporting pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to surface the metrics that matter most. Your work will directly influence how Telestream grows its media technology business globally.


Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Business Intelligence & Reporting

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide insights into key business metrics.
  • Build scalable data models, data pipelines, and visualizations to support reporting across multiple departments.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for the business.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data through analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Develop documentation and processes for data governance and management.
  • Provide training and support for end-users on Power BI reporting tools.

Salesforce Data Analysis

  • Partner with our Salesforce Administrator to extract, analyze, and interpret Salesforce CRM data to support sales performance tracking, pipeline analysis, and forecasting.
  • Integrate Salesforce data with Power BI to create unified views of the customer journey from lead to renewal.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations teams, Sales and Finance to define and track key CRM metrics including ARR, churn, deal velocity, and win/loss rates.
  • Ensure data quality and governance within Salesforce by identifying gaps, duplicate records, and field mapping inconsistencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or Data Analyst.
  • Advanced in Power BI,  visualizations and interactive dashboards.
  • Expert-level understanding of Salesforce CRM systems and relational data (Salesforce required)
  • Strong SQL skills to query and manipulate data from various databases.
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Exposure to dbt, Fivetran, or similar modern data pipleline tools.
  • Power BI certification (PL-300)
  • Salesforce admin certification a plus
  • Background in revenue operations or go-to-market analytics.
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present insights and recommendations to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
