Reporting directly to the VP Business Operations, we are looking for a talented Business Operations Manager to join our team and help shape the future of decentralized finance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Compliance & Security Programs – Own the design, implementation, and ongoing management of global compliance initiatives (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS), including audits, certifications, and risk management.
- Build and Enforce Internal Policies – Develop, maintain, and scale security, compliance, and operational policies across the organization, ensuring consistency and accountability.
- Oversee Vendor & Contract Management – Manage vendor selection, procurement, onboarding, and contract processes, aligning them with compliance and security requirements.
- Enable Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with technical, business, and legal teams to embed compliance and security best practices into daily operations and strategic initiatives.
- Drive Program & Process Excellence – Lead company-wide initiatives that improve operational efficiency, reduce risk, and support sustainable growth.
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in business operations, compliance, or security program management within a technology company.
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS) and experience leading audits.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and enforce internal policies at a global scale.
- Background in vendor management, procurement, and contracts.
- Excellent program management and organizational skills with experience working cross-functionally across technical and business teams.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for security, operational excellence, and emerging technologies like blockchain and DeFi.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Based in NYC with the ability to work from our Brooklyn office, or ability to work remotely in the USA with travel up to 30% of the year to collaborate in person with the team.
- Experience working in high-growth technology companies or startups, ideally with exposure to compliance, security, or risk management functions.
- Familiarity with blockchain, smart contracts, and/or DeFi protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to scale compliance and security programs in fast-paced, global environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort driving cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience working in both hypergrowth startup environments and larger enterprise organizations.

Salary and seniority level commensurate with experience (range: $129,000-$150,000)
