Business Operations Analyst
Role Summary
As a Senior Principal Business Operations Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving the operational execution of the Mission Integrated Solutions (MIS) Business Unit, focusing on program governance, performance management, onboarding coordination, business continuity, and people and culture planning. You will support the Business Operations Manager and the Director of Strategy & Growth Programs in planning efforts to drive business outcomes and inform strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities -
Business Unit Management & Impact Reporting
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Strategy & Growth, MIS Business Operations, Leadership, and Finance, to manage the budget request and approval process for MIS.
  • Develops and maintains current and future-year budget plans, including overhead and investment spend, to support business growth and strategic initiatives.
Salesforce Pipeline Management and Analysis
  • Analyzes and continuously improves Salesforce pipeline data to inform strategic decision-making and drive business outcomes.
  • Develop growth & new business reports, perform data analysis and review reports and briefs to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Training & Onboarding Coordination
  • Develops and implements comprehensive training and onboarding programs to ensure seamless integration of new employees.
People, Culture & Engagement Planning
  • Collaborates with HR, Business Operations Management, and leadership to design and implement strategic workforce planning, employee engagement, and culture initiatives that drive business outcomes.
  • Supports planning and execution of programs that strengthen employee engagement, retention, and alignment with organizational values.
Business Continuity Management
  • Develops and implements business continuity plans to ensure operational resilience and minimize disruptions.
  • Partners with IT, Facilities, HR, and Operations to ensure preparedness for disruptions and assist with business continuity documentation, training, and readiness drills.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, finance, economics or a related discipline
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams and leadership levels
  • Proficient in budget and planning, financial analysis, and resource allocation
  • Advanced analytical skills, including experience with Salesforce data
  • Excellent report development skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable business insights
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to design workforce planning and employee engagement strategies
  • Effective communication and documentation skills
  • Experience with relevant software tools such Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Experience with project management platforms
  • Defense experience
  • Experience with Atlassian Suite tools, including:
    Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket etc.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $107952 - $183518
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
