We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of GTM Operations to drive operational excellence and enable our global go-to-market teams to achieve their ambitious goals.

About the Role:

As the Director, Business Operations and Programs, you will be a critical leader responsible for optimizing our sales programs & operational efficiencies. You will collaborate with senior leadership across Sales, Marketing, Channel, Customer Experience, and Finance to evaluate, scope, prioritize, and operationalize strategic initiatives & programs. You will be a builder at heart, with a deep understanding of the operational components needed to build a global world-class SaaS company. You will thrive in the driver’s seat of complex, cross-functional projects, possessing expertise across key sales processes, systems and tools. This role offers a significant opportunity to impact the growth, direction, and future of Ping Identity. You will be instrumental in identifying operational challenges, setting strategies, and organizing cross-functional teams to build new capabilities and drive continuous improvement. Success in this role will be measured by improved efficiencies across the Sales Organization, program success, process optimization, adoption and effectiveness of Sales and Services systems.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Execution: Contribute to the overall Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process, focusing on the business development version of the plan, ensuring clear actions, execution, and dependency management. Support the development and execution of the GTM vision and strategy. Support Sales Plays operationalization. Facilitate mgmt of the operational plan to support the GTM strategy and drive plan x-functional execution

Process Improvement & Project Management:

  • Support cross-functional improvements initiatives based on their impact on the business (e.g.,Lead2Cash process definition and improvements in alignment with Deal Management Team)
  • Own projects end-to-end, from requirements gathering to testing to adoption.
  • Develop clear requirements, MVPs, business justifications, and business outcomes to assess risks and determine buy-vs-build opportunities.
  • Create and maintain key documentation, such as Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), process flows, use cases, test scripts, change management and enablement materials. 

GTM Technology Ownership:

  • Identify opportunities to improve and automate Sales, Sales Support, and GTM Operations tools, systems, and processes.
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, including product roadmap alignment, utilization tracking, and ongoing support.
  • Act as a liaison between teams to translate business objectives and needs into technology and process requirements.
  • Partner with the IT team to ensure projects are scoped, implemented, and delivered within committed timelines.
  • Go to Market Programs Establish operational plan to support program launches
  • Work closely with Product to collaborate on product launch plans from a GTM perspective
  • Provide project management and change management support for GTM programs, ensuring seamless execution and adoption across the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Sales Operations, Channels & Alliances, Customer Experience, Product Management, and Finance to ensure alignment, integration, and successful outcomes for GTM initiatives.
  • Establish and manage GTM program cadences, driving accountability, visibility, and continuous improvement across cross-functional teams. 
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and alignment, ensuring all stakeholders are informed, engaged, and contributing to GTM program success.
  • Enable seamless go-to-market execution by managing dependencies, mitigating risks, and ensuring timely delivery of program milestones.

Salary Range: $150K - $200K

In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
