Run end-to-end business operations: people ops (onboarding/offboarding, HRIS), office and culture, board and investor relations, vendor and contract review, and corporate admin. Work closely with founders, manage high-stakes processes, and automate repetitive tasks using AI.

The Role

You'll manage the cross-functional operations that keep Altitude moving.

You'll drive people operations end to end, manage our board and investor relationships behind the scenes, and be the person who reads every vendor and partner agreement before it gets signed. You'll work daily with the founders and CBO.

This is not inbox triage with a title. The work sits close to the center of the company: people operations, board materials, partner contracts. It requires judgment, discretion, and the ability to run a dozen threads without dropping one.

What You'll Own

People Operations

  • Own onboarding and offboarding end to end: contracts, accounts, equipment delivery and inventory, first day through last

  • Process people paperwork across FTEs and EORs: employment contracts, salary increases, option grants, comp changes

  • Own and administer our HRIS and related people ops systems, and keep it the source of truth

  • Own the culture layer: new-hire welcomes, team rituals, birthdays, gifts, swag, and all the intangible elements of culture that make a remote-friendly team feel like a team

  • Run team offsites end to end: venues, travel, logistics, agendas

  • Manage physical office spaces (can be done remotely) and the paperwork + ops tied to them

Board & Investor Relations

  • Organize board meetings end to end: scheduling, materials, notes, follow-ups

  • Prepare board updates and own corporate admin

  • Handle investor document requests and run ongoing investor communications

  • Consult with outside counsel on corporate matters

Vendors & Partners

  • Review the business logic of every contract: understand the agreement, catch the red flags, and know what the partnership is actually worth to us

  • Manage document signing and keep internal stakeholders aligned through execution

  • Own recurring reporting requirements for our banking and infrastructure partners

  • Run day-to-day communications with vendors and partners

You Might Be Right For This If
  • You're the most organized person you know and it's not close

  • You handle sensitive information (comp, cap table, board materials) with total discretion

  • You're comfortable in the room with lawyers, investors, and executives

  • You're proactive: you fix things before anyone asks and flag risks before they land

  • You can context-switch between an option grant, a board deck, and a vendor renewal without dropping any of them

  • You use AI to automate the repetitive work so your time goes to what actually needs judgment

  • You're low-ego and high-ownership: no task is beneath you, no system is beyond you

  • You move fast, make decisions, and don't need approval loops to ship

Requirements
  • 3+ years in operations, corporate admin, or legal ops at a high-growth startup

  • Track record of running high-stakes processes with zero drops: board cycles, contract workflows, people paperwork

  • Exceptional organization and follow-through. This is non-negotiable.

  • Enough contract fluency to read an agreement and flag what matters commercially, not just legally. You're not a lawyer, and you know when to call one.

  • AI-native: your first instinct is to automate, not to grind

  • Comfortable operating across time zones with a global team

Why This Might Be Interesting

Most ops roles keep you far from the decisions. This one puts you next to them. You'll see the board materials, the cap table, the partner agreements, and the comp decisions, and you'll be trusted to support all of it.

Altitude is early enough that the internal machinery doesn't exist yet. You'll build it, and it will scale with the company. Very few roles offer this much trust and surface area this early.
