The Business Strategy Senior Analyst (Finance) will support the Enterprise Finance team in the execution of Texas Capital’s strategic initiatives through partnership with line of business leadership to develop reporting, forecasts, and enhancements to the annual operating plan and financial analysis processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain models, reports, and processes in support of the Firm’s quarterly forecast and strategic planning

  • Develop reports, synthesize analysis, and articulate the conclusions through verbal and written communications

  • Develop knowledge of the business/LOB that is being supported

  • Develop presentations for Executive Management and the Board of Directors

  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as requested

  • Understanding of data sources and data analysis techniques

  • Ability to manage competing priorities on concurrent large, complex projects, initiatives, and deliverables

  • Build strong business partnerships at multiple levels while informing and influencing strategic decisions

  • Acquire in-depth understanding of a complex and challenging business enterprise

  • Develop clear, concise written summations of complex analytical work

  • Participate in the development and implementation of Finance department goals, contributing to strategic decisions with a comprehensive understanding of the business line as well as knowledge of industry/competitor strategies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or accounting

  • Minimum of 2 years of related financial/business analysis and planning experience

  • Ability to build relationships with, and provide thought leadership to officers of TCB

  • Experience thriving in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment

  • Experience effectively managing several work streams and projects concurrently

  • Superior analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Effective communication (written and oral) and partnering skills

  • Knowledge of spreadsheet manipulation, modeling, and forecasting

  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently

  • Detail-oriented and must be able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from project management teams to Bank senior management

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience with enterprise financial planning systems preferred, such as Oracle, Hyperion or TM1

  • Experience working in the financial services industry is preferred
