About tvScientific

tvScientific is the first and only CTV advertising platform purpose-built for performance marketers. We leverage massive data and cutting-edge science to automate and optimize TV advertising to drive business outcomes. Our solution combines media buying, optimization, measurement, and attribution in one, efficient platform. Our platform is built by industry leaders with a long history in programmatic advertising, digital media, and ad verification who have now purpose-built a CTV performance platform advertisers can trust to grow their business.

We’re looking for a Sales Engineer to be the go-to technical partner for our customers—from the first “what is tvScientific?” conversation all the way through onboarding and beyond.

You’ll work side-by-side with Sales and Onboarding to scope out the right solutions, showcase what our platform can do, and make sure everything runs smoothly once clients are ready to go live. This role is a mix of technical problem-solver and trusted guide—you’ll help clients understand how we fit into their world and make sure they’re set up for long-term success.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the primary technical expert during the sales cycle, partnering closely with Sales to design, explain, and validate client integrations
  • Lead discovery conversations to understand client integration preferences, including client-side pixels, server-to-server postbacks, and custom reporting needs
  • Recommend measurement and attribution solutions tailored to each client’s business goals and technical environment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve implementation issues related to data flow, event firing, attribution, and reporting accuracy
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, client-friendly explanations to build trust and drive deal confidence
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to relay client needs and integration feedback
  • Stay current on ad tech, programmatic advertising, privacy changes, and measurement best practices to inform solutions and recommendations
  • Document best practices, integration patterns, and technical solutions for internal teams and clients
  • Leverage AI tools to improve day-to-day efficiency across technical discovery, research, documentation, and internal knowledge sharing
  • Use AI-assisted workflows to accelerate issue investigations, troubleshoot conversion requests and event flows, and draft technical documentation

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years in a technical, client-facing role (Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, Technical Account Management)
  • Strong understanding of the digital media and advertising landscape, with experience talking to customers and agencies about digital media, including CTV advertising
  • Hands-on experience with tracking technologies (pixels, SDKs, server-side postbacks, APIs, tag management solutions)
  • Strong debugging skills and comfort working with logs, network requests, and data validation tools
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and independently
  • Comfort translating technical complexity into accessible explanations
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate technical research, troubleshooting, documentation, and workflow efficiency
  • Strong judgment in applying AI-assisted workflows to customer-facing technical work while maintaining accuracy, clarity, and trust
  • Nice to Haves
    • Familiarity with programmatic platforms (DSPs, SSPs, exchanges)
    • Experience working with enterprise clients and complex technical stakeholders
    • Knowledge of analytics, conversion tracking, measurement, and attribution solutions
    • Working knowledge of privacy frameworks and regulations (GDPR, CCPA, consent management, cookie deprecation)
