Tecovas is looking for a Business Systems Analyst, Supply Chain to be responsible for analyzing processes, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness across sourcing, warehouse, deliveries, and production scheduling. Reporting directly to the VP, Logistics & Operations, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design systems, and implement process improvements that drive operational excellence. 

This role is required to be based in Austin, TX. Candidates must either be currently located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX.

What you’ll do:

  • Process Analysis: Analyze existing supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze data related to inventory levels, costs, and performance metrics.
  • Problem Identification & Solution Development: Identify root causes of supply chain issues and recommend improvements, including process enhancements, technology implementations, and policy changes.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to capture business needs and translate them into clear functional and technical requirements.
  • System Design and Implementation: Assist in the design, testing, and deployment of new or enhanced supply chain systems that adhere to industry best practices.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of processes, procedures, and system configurations for training and future reference.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor system performance and prepare reports to highlight areas for further improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in supply chain management to continuously drive process improvements.

Experience we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Familiarity with supply chain systems, backend software (NetSuite, Shopify, Nedap, etc) and data analysis tools (e.g. SQL, Excel, Tableau) is a plus.
