We are seeking a professional, friendly, and customer-focused Call Center Representative to join our team. The Call Center Representative will handle inbound and/or outbound customer calls, answer questions, resolve concerns, provide accurate information, and ensure a positive customer experience.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a professional telephone manner, patience, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to remain calm while handling a high volume of calls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming customer calls promptly and professionally.
  • Make outbound calls to customers, clients, or prospective customers as required.
  • Listen carefully to customers and determine their needs.
  • Provide accurate information regarding products, services, accounts, orders, policies, and procedures.
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns efficiently and professionally.
  • Process customer requests, orders, payments, appointments, cancellations, returns, or other transactions as applicable.
  • Verify customer information and update account records accurately.
  • Document all customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in the company's system.
  • Transfer or escalate calls to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issues have been resolved.
  • Maintain a professional, courteous, and helpful tone during every interaction.
  • Meet established call quality, productivity, response-time, and customer satisfaction standards.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, scripts, and regulatory requirements.
  • Protect customer privacy and confidential information.
  • Identify recurring customer issues and communicate them to supervisors or management.
  • Stay informed about company products, services, promotions, and policies.
  • Assist with administrative and customer service duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous call center, customer service, retail, sales, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional and friendly telephone manner.
  • Strong listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional with difficult or upset customers.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn customer service software.
  • Ability to type and enter information accurately while speaking with customers.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One or more years of call center or customer service experience.
  • Experience with CRM, ticketing, or call-center software.
  • Experience handling high-volume inbound calls.
  • Experience with outbound calling or appointment setting.
  • Sales or retention experience.
  • Bilingual or multilingual communication skills may be preferred.

Work Environment

The Call Center Representative may work in a call center, office, hybrid, or remote environment depending on company requirements.
