Do you enjoy working outdoors in a high energy environment all while helping children grow and step outside their comfort zone? Join our Summer Camp Team as a Program Specialist for Tower at Camp Round Rock!

Program Specialists provide experiential activities and facilitate a powerful learning opportunity for participants of all ages during Summer Day Camp.

Essential Functions:

  • Safely facilitate Tower activities
  • Inspect climbing equipment and hardware daily
  • Document equipment usage reporting any issues to supervisor
  • Exhibit teamwork and good communication with Camp Staff
  • Provide active supervision of a group of children during a specialty class/program
  • Ability to relate well to children, to communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, other staff, and Y leadership

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Previous Ropes Course/Rock Climbing/Target Sports experience preferred but not required
  • Ability and willingness to work outside in the Texas summer heat
  • Able to pass a background check and drug test

Pay Rate: $15.00-$19.00/hour
