 As Iron Mountain continues on an ambitious growth trajectory, we are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Campaign Strategist to join our global campaigns function - a new, highly strategic function being built within the Global Marketing team.

Reporting into the Director of Global Campaigns, this role is a key strategic position responsible for developing and leading industry-leading, data-driven campaigns for Iron Mountain’s digital products, that resonate with target customer personas and drive significant business outcomes. 

This role is perfect for a self-motivated, data-driven professional who excels at turning high-level business goals into impactful, multi-objective, customer-centric campaigns that build awareness, consideration and demand. You will act as a key individual contributor, leading the strategic development and execution of campaigns from inception to optimisation.

The role is a remote role and will be required to work with stakeholders based across the globe - while we operate normal working hours, you may wish to adjust them periodically to increase international collaboration time. Current regions we are supporting: North America, LATAM, Europe, MENAT and APAC.

Key Accountabilities 

  • Campaign Strategy & Leadership: Work with the Director of Global Campaigns and internal stakeholders to translate overarching business strategy into a comprehensive campaign strategy. This includes developing "always-on" campaigns and leveraging data insights to continuously optimise and refresh creative and content. While you will own and develop globally relevant campaign themes and creative concepts, you’ll need to work with Field Marketing stakeholders to ensure that what is developed globally can be easily adapted, extended and localised for regional markets outside of the Global Campaign targeting remit.
     

  • Customer Journey & Content Management: Connect the dots between product and sales by mapping and managing the entire customer journey through campaign development. You will work closely with Product Marketing to build messaging houses that align with product positioning, and Content Strategists and an external agency to build a multi-medium content strategy that maps to the customer journey, is strategically designed to engage customers at every touchpoint and guide them toward desired outcomes. This will also include connecting and bringing other global touchpoints into the overarching content strategy, such as the Virtual Events programme.
     

  • Channel Planning & Analytics: Work with internal channel owners, including Paid Media, to build channel plans that place messaging and content at the right time in the customer journey, and drive to a specific measurable outcome. You will also work directly with Marketing Analytics to determine campaign effectiveness and articulate key insights from campaign performance data, fine-tuning campaigns for maximum output and ROI.
     

  • Stakeholder & Global Collaboration: Lead the end-to-end campaign production process, effectively collaborating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including external agencies, and internally, product, sales, and creative teams. Your ability to lead, build trust and motivate global project teams to deliver complex campaign initiatives on time and on budget is critical.
     

  • Documentation & Project Management: Maintain good documentation hygiene related to campaign development and effectiveness, ensuring all stakeholders can review and collaborate asynchronously, which is especially crucial for the global nature of our stakeholders and working partners. This includes creating and managing timing plans and calendars, as well as updating regular campaign reports to support visibility at every level within the org. While an individual contributor, you will be expected to motivate project teams to deliver complex initiatives, key fostering collaboration and ensuring project success

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in demand/campaign management

  • Bachelor’s degree, though those without a degree but with relevant work experience as detailed in criteria can also apply

  • Highly experienced in the development, execution, and management of integrated demand generation campaigns

  • Proficiency in data literacy

  • Knowledge of marketing and communication principles, practices, and techniques

  • Affinity and knowledge of Digital Marketing channels and tactics, including paid media

  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills

 

Project & People Leadership Skills

  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and strategically prioritise with a high degree of autonomy and professionalism

  • Highly collaborative with the ability to manage and consult with multiple stakeholders

  • Proficient in operating under pressure and meeting deadlines

 

Personal & Foundational Attributes

  • Must be comfortable being a self-starter, working independently with complete ownership and creating concrete plans via driving inputs from a variety of sources and stakeholders

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional interpersonal skills

  • English Language Fluency at native or near-native proficiency

  • Additional language beneficial

Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in SaaS B2B campaign strategy and management.

  • Global-to-Local Campaign Development: Proven ability to create global campaign concepts that has global reach, but has a clear framework for regional adaptation and localisation for resonance.

  • Strategic Acumen: Proven ability to develop and execute complex, multi-channel campaigns that successfully drive business results.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with a track record of using data and insights to optimise campaign performance.

  • Communication: Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategies and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Adaptability: A flexible and dynamic professional who can thrive in a goal and deadline -led environment and take ownership of a broad range of responsibilities.

Mobility Requirements

  • Role is remote 

  • Must be able and willing to travel to various countries if required, this would be infrequent. 

  • The role is a remote role and will be required to work with stakeholders based across the globe - while we operate normal domestic working hours, you may wish to adjust them periodically to increase international collaboration time. Current regions we are supporting: North America, LATAM, Europe, MENAT and APAC. 

Reasonably expected salary range: $123,500.00 - $164,700.00
