Caesars Entertainment Inc’s.  Procurement & Strategic Sourcing department is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technology Category Manager to spearhead the end-to-end sourcing processes for Corporate Hardware, Software, SaaS, Enterprise Security and related services. This critical role involves actively managing sourcing categories, leading supplier negotiations, and supporting and influencing key business decisions to drive successful sourcing outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with business and technical stakeholders to design and execute sourcing strategies that optimize cost, performance, and risk

  • Translate complex technical requirements into commercial strategies, leading the full sourcing lifecycle—category planning, RFx execution, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and performance management

  • Lead robust RFx processes including market assessments, supplier identification, competitive bidding, stakeholder alignment, scoring methodologies, negotiations, and award recommendations

  • Perform advanced market and benchmark analysis to drive continuous improvement in pricing, service levels, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Track market dynamics and execute cost‑optimization initiatives

  • Own contract development and negotiation for all IT‑related agreements (MSAs, SOWs, order forms, amendments), ensuring alignment across Legal, Cybersecurity, Finance and Regulatory.

  • Anticipate and mitigate project risks by proactively identifying issues, driving cross‑functional alignment, and ensuring timely resolution.

  • Drive value creation by balancing business requirements with technical and operational considerations to deliver optimal outcomes

  • Maintain expertise in IT sourcing, vendor management, industry best practices, and emerging technology trends, serving as a strategic advisor to internal partners

  • Continuously assess supplier capabilities, develop supplier strategies, and expand competitive supplier portfolios

  • Strengthen cross‑functional collaboration with Strategic Sourcing, Contracting, Procurement Operations, Cybersecurity, Legal, and other internal teams to support enterprise‑wide procurement goals

Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in effective collaboration, influence, and communication with internal clients and external suppliers
  • Proven experience to analyze complex information and data sets, apply critical thinking, and achieve successful outcomes through negotiation
  • Expertise in drafting and redlining professional services and software agreements, with experience of contract language and terms
  • Proficiency with a variety of tools and technologies, including productivity, collaboration, and contract management software, and quick adaptability to new systems and workflows with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Commercial negotiation acumen, evidenced by a track record of securing favorable terms and managing complex contracts
  • Proven organizational and prioritization skills
  • Familiarity with the complexities of Tech Sourcing, particularly networking hardware, software, services and associated agreements

Additional Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, indirect category management, or contracting within technology categories
  • Bachelor’s or similar degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management or related technical field required, MBA preferred.
