These Specialists will support specific categories; Responsibilities include managing vendor ticket resolution, promotions setup, new vendor & new SKU onboarding and new assortment onboarding. The Category Specialist will often be the first point of contact for our vendors so it will be critical to deliver high-quality, thoughtful service to our valued partners. This role is uniquely positioned to directly craft our vendor and customer experiences, ultimately contributing to the Chewy brand!
In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and delivering priorities in an organized manner and according to service level agreements (SLAs). You will consistently deliver routine tasks that support broader category strategies and maintain vendor relationships through meaningful interactions. You will exercise your strong interpersonal skills, detailed attention, and the ability to absorb information and experiences quickly. What You'll Do
- Resolve vendor tickets on a daily/weekly basis in line with our SLAs
- Set up and implement promotions as per category manager direction
- Ensure new vendors and new SKUs are onboarded according to SLAs; troubleshoot issues and raise concerns when necessary
- Work cross-functionally with supply chain, private label, finance, catalog and promotion teams
What You'll Need
- Completion of a BS/BA degree desired
- 1+ years of experience with a preference in eCommerce, buying, account management, product management, category management, operations, analytics, finance or marketing
- Good analytical abilities and problem-solving skills (Excel, SQL is a plus)
- Strong verbal and written communication,
- Self-starter with a bias for action and attention to detail
- Proven time management, data analysis, and organizational management skills
