Job DescriptionPosition Overview
We are seeking a Certification Professional contractor to join our team on a contract basis. This remote position will focus on managing professional and industry certification programs while collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop high-quality certification materials that meet industry standards. Training and guidance will be provided by SAI staff for certification programs/tools and meeting prep, facilitating the meetings, and analysis.
What you’ll be doing
Program Management
Oversee day-to-day operations of certification programs, ensuring smooth delivery and administration
Adhere to certification timelines, milestones, and deliverables
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align certification initiatives with organizational goals
Monitor program performance metrics and provide regular status updates
Ensure compliance with accreditation and industry standards
Develop, administer, and analyze surveys related to job-task analysis and other surveys as needed
Content Development & Standards Adherence
Collaborate with external SMEs to develop, review, and validate certification materials including exams blueprints, study guides, and assessments (practice tests and exams)
Ensure all certification content adheres to relevant industry standards and best practices to meet the Department of Defense COOL standards
Facilitate SME workshops, review sessions, job-task analyses, and standard setting to gather technical expertise with the guidance of SAI staff
Maintain content quality and accuracy through rigorous review processes
Update existing certification materials to reflect current industry practices and maintain standards
A successful candidate will have
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Psychology or related field with courses in measurement, assessment, and statistics
Ability to work with SMEs and technical experts to develop certification content
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, and Google Sheets and Docs
Experience with certification management platforms or proficiency with technology
Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
Student in an I/O Psychology master’s or doctoral program
Experience with IT, project management, or other professional certification bodies (e.g., PMI, CompTIA, SHRM)
Strong understanding of industry certification standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 17024, ANSI/ASTM standards)
Knowledge of psychometric principles and exam development processes
Familiarity with accreditation procedures
Experience with R and SQL
Experience with certification analytics and reporting tools

Compensation: Scaled Agile is dedicated to fair and equitable compensation. The hourly rate for this role is $40 to $55 for a 3-month contract, with the possibility of renewal for an additional 3 months. Final rate for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
