Join our North America Channel Marketing Team!

The Channel Marketing Manager- Distributors & TSDs will work closely with North America channel sales, regional marketing, and global partner marketing teams to design and execute distributor-led demand generation programs. This role will focus on driving pipeline and revenue through strategic distributors and technology services distributors (TSDs), including partners such as Carahsoft, Arrow, and AVANT Communications.

You will collaborate with channel sales, distributor account teams, and global marketing functions including digital, field events, and partner programs. Leveraging your experience in partner and distributor marketing, you will apply a data-driven approach to build scalable programs that drive pipeline growth and improve marketing ROI across complex partner ecosystems.

As a Channel Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing a deep understanding of Akamai's channel strategy and aligning distributor marketing initiatives to that strategy and North America sales priorities
  • Building and executing joint marketing plans with distributors and TSDs to drive pipeline creation, progression, and conversion
  • Driving distributor-led demand generation programs across digital, events, webinars, and content syndication
  • Designing and scaling repeatable campaign frameworks across distributor and TSD ecosystems, enabling advisors, sub-agents, and partners
  • Partnering with channels sales, field marketing, and distributors to support co-selling motions and accelerate pipeline
  • Managing MDF investments and delivering data-driven reporting to optimize ROI and demonstrate measurable impact on pipeline and revenue

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • Have experience in B2B or channel marketing, with a proven track record of driving pipeline through partner-led demand generation
  • Have experience working with distributors, TSDs, or indirect go-to-market models
  • Have a strong understanding of MDF strategy, partner co-marketing, and multi-tier partner ecosystems
  • Have strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making and optimization
  • Enjoy working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and partner teams
  • Possess a proactive, self-motivated mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $105,400 - $189,600/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
