What We Do:

Huntress is a fully remote, global team of passionate experts and ethical badasses on a mission to break down the barriers to cybersecurity. Whether creating purpose-built security solutions, hunting down hackers, or impacting our community, our people go above and beyond to change the security game and make a real difference.

Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress protects all businesses—not just the 1%—with enterprise-grade, fully owned, and managed cybersecurity products at the price of an affordable SaaS application. The Huntress difference is our One Team advantage: our technology is designed with our industry-defining Security Operations Center (SOC) in mind and is never separated from our service.

We protect 4M+ endpoints and 7M+ identities worldwide, elevating underresourced IT teams with protection that works as hard as they do. As long as hackers keep hacking, Huntress keeps hunting.

What You’ll Do:

We’re looking to add an experienced Sales Engineer to our growing team. You’ll join a group of highly collaborative individuals who enjoy supporting our sales team by providing technical product expertise to potential customers. As a Sales Engineer at Huntress, you will be responsible for assisting with technical first impressions of our product platform by diving into the details of our products and providing insightful assistance on how to level up our customers’ security posture.

Responsibilities:

  • Equip regional reseller partners with the technical knowledge and skills needed to sell, deploy, and support Huntress solutions through frequent hands-on training sessions, workshops, and product demonstrations
  • Serve as the primary technical advisor for a small set of reseller sellers—join customer calls, scope and manage proof-of-concept (PoC) evaluations, and handle technical objections directly
  • Act as a day-to-day liaison between regional partners and Huntress product teams, providing clear feedback on customer needs, feature gaps, and recurring trends
  • Build and maintain tactical sales collateral (decks, demos, battle cards) that help regional partners articulate Huntress value in the field
  • Onboard new reseller partners to the Huntress platform, including NFR environments, demo setups, and validation of their first customer deployments
  • Support regional events, roadshows, and joint customer engagements that drive pipeline and close business
  • Helps regional partners win deals through hands-on demos, PoVs, and technical support
  • Works with smaller regional VARs
  • Higher volume of direct partner and customer interaction
  • Lots of demos, PoVs, objection handling, and partner onboarding
  • Fast-moving, operational, and hands-on
  • Ideal candidates have strong field SE experience, customer-facing presence, and the ability to handle a high volume of tactical activity

What You Bring To The Team:

  • 4+ years in a channel-facing technical role with hands-on sales cycle support
  • Comfort running demos, PoCs, and customer-facing technical work end-to-end
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple business value for buyers
  • Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, attacker tradecraft
  • Experience working directly with VARs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience helping smaller partners stand up a repeatable sales process
  • Threat analysis background and familiarity with Microsoft security stack
  • SIEM/log aggregation experience across multiple toolsets
  • Hands-on SOC or incident response experience

What We Offer:

  • 100% remote work environment - since our founding in 2015
  • Generous paid time off policy, including vacation, sick time, and paid holidays
  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Highly competitive and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits plans
  • 401(k) with a 5% contribution regardless of employee contribution
  • Life and Disability insurance plans
  • Stock options for all full-time employees
  • One-time $500 reimbursement for building/upgrading home office
  • Annual allowance for education and professional development assistance
  • $75 USD/month digital reimbursement
  • Access to the BetterUp platform for coaching, personal, and professional growth
