About the Role

Resi Media, LLC, a Pushpay company, is a privately held technology company broadcasting content for thousands of organizations around the globe. The industry leader in providing ultra-reliable live streaming to both physical venues and web destinations over a standard internet connection. Resi provides world-class technical support and customer service, having one of the highest satisfaction rates in the media industry.

The Channel Solutions Engineer serves as the technical authority for Resi's entire indirect channel, supporting both distribution and dealer motions as a shared resource. This role broadens the set of use cases partners are able to sell, and raises the value of each new customer through correct tier and platform configuration across the full product set. What You’ll Do

  • Technical training: Delivering technical training to distributor sales teams and dealer technical staff, working through the distributor's sales organization to reach its dealer network at scale.
  • Enablement assets: Building reusable technical materials — use case guides, reference designs, configuration standards, and signal path documentation — spanning the full platform.
  • Vertical breadth: Developing and maintaining technical positioning across multiple vertical deployments so partners can sell beyond a single use case.
  • Solution design: Supporting complex and multisite opportunities pre-sale; assisting partners in scoping, specifying, and positioning systems that align with the end customer's requirements.
  • Technical escalation: Serving as the escalation path for distributor representatives and dealers on product, workflow, and integration questions.
  • Competitive intelligence: Maintaining deep knowledge of the competitive landscape, including protocol-level differentiation, to help partners position Resi accurately and defensibly.
  • Expansion engineering: Identifying opportunities within existing customers where additional platform capability or hardware addresses an emerging need, and supporting the partner through that conversation.
  • Demo environment: Maintaining and evolving a demo environment that reflects real-world use cases across verticals, for both new partner training and feature launches.
  • Feedback loop: Aggregating technical friction points and capability gaps from the partner base and partnering with Product and Engineering to influence the roadmap.
  • Event presence: Providing technical presence and support at industry and integrator-facing events.

What You’ll Bring

  • System design: Hands-on ability to scope and specify a system, not only explain a product.
  • Field credibility: System build and installation experience, or equivalent time in the field; credibility with integrators comes from having done the work they do.
  • Platform fluency: Understanding of SaaS architecture, API workflows, cloud-based video distribution, and encoder/decoder signal paths.
  • Training ability: Comfortable training a room, not only solving a ticket; this is an enablement role more than a support role.
  • Consultative approach: Ability to translate technical detail into business and mission impact language for both technical and non-technical leadership.
  • Vertical range: Credible across multiple markets, including but not limited to the faith-based sector.

Education and Experience:

  • A high school graduate (or holder of an equivalent degree) with BS/BA preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of industry or professional AV experience
  • 2+ years experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Engineer in ProAV or video infrastructure
  • Hands-on system design and installation experience strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting an indirect or partner-led sales motion preferred
  • Strong computer skills
  • Travel expected
