Position Description

We are seeking Service-focused Chaperon & Advisor to lead 1-2 week academic trips to the United States. The trips will include academic, cultural, and touristic components (debate, workshops, model U.N, IMF, World Bank, and major tourist sites). Strong candidates are usually those involved in other community service and student related activities.

This role is ideal for individuals with experience leading groups, especially teenagers, and who are passionate about guiding and advising young minds. As a Chaperon & Advisor, you will play a crucial role in leading and supporting a group of students traveling from Morocco to the United States, and other countries, ensuring their safety and enriching their experience.

Trip Tentative Dates:

Trip 1: January 23rd-February 1st, 2026.

Trip 2: February 12th-February 22nd, 2026.

Trip 3: July 23rd-August 1st, 2026.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a cohort of typically 15 to 25 students traveling from Morocco to the United States.

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students throughout the trip.

  • Provide guidance and advice to students, fostering a supportive and educational environment.

  • Coordinate with travel and accommodation providers to ensure smooth logistics.

  • Act as a liaison between students and any external parties during the trip.

  • Facilitate group activities and discussions to enhance the students' learning experience.

  • Submit daily reports to headquarters and organizers of the trip.

  • Manage spontaneous and uncertain situations such as coordinating ground local transportation, museum admissions, etc.

  • Proven ability to lead and manage groups effectively.

  • Strong advisory skills with a focus on student engagement and support.

  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle travel logistics and coordinate with various stakeholders.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Great pressure handling, and coming up with creative solutions.

Qualifications

Candidates should have experience in a chaperon, advisory, or group leadership role. A strong ability to manage groups and provide guidance is essential for success in this role.
