About the Role

RealManage, one of the largest community association management companies in the U.S. and backed by a premier private equity firm, is seeking a Chief of Staff to partner directly with the CEO. This is a high-visibility role for a proven operator who can function as a true thought partner, bringing analytical horsepower, executive presence, and sound judgment to the most important priorities facing the business.

You will sit at the center of the company’s operating rhythm and strategic agenda, driving execution across the leadership team and serving as a trusted extension of the CEO. The right person has already delivered results through senior leaders who did not report to them and is ready to do it on the enterprise scale.

What makes this role exciting
  • PE-backed opera6ng experience: Drive the value creation agenda for a portfolio company of a leading North American private equity investor, with direct exposure to the CEO, board, and sponsor team
  • Drive a leading-edge AI transforma6on: Apply Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) and modern tooling to a scaled industry incumbent, turning technology investment into measurable productivity and margin gains
  • Scale that shows up in the numbers: A national platform serving hundreds of thousands of homes across multiple brands and states, where better decisions translate quickly into results
  • General management exposure: A seat at the table for the decisions that shape the business, from capital allocation and organizational design to growth and M&A
Core Responsibilities
  • Own the opera6ng cadence: weekly ELT staff meetings, business performance reviews, and quarterly board meeting preparation and follow-through, including agendas, materials, and action tracking
  • Run the value crea6on plan: lead the program management office for the company’s multi-year value creation plan, holding initiative owners accountable for milestones, financial impact, and decisions across a portfolio of 20+ initiatives
  • Act as an integrator across func6ons, keeping decisions, initiatives, and communication coordinated across operations, sales, finance, HR, and technology, with transparent accountability on deliverables
  • Lead strategic and annual planning, including the annual/quarterly planning calendar, the annual budget, investment priorities, and long-range plan, in close partnership with the CEO, Finance, and the sponsor team

  • Lead high-priority strategic projects end to end, from analysis through implementation (e.g., technology investment prioritization, pricing, M&A integration, organizational design)
  • Treat priori6es as projects: build work plans, track milestones, and manage urgent issues (board inquiries, client escalations) as they surface
  • Sharpen how the business sees itself: partner with Finance and IT to improve operating reporting so field and corporate leaders can act faster on churn, revenue, and cost variances
  • Serve as a trusted confidant and communicator, anticipating issues, functioning as extra eyes and ears for the CEO, and representing the CEO’s priorities with credibility across the organization

  • MBA from a top program preferred
  • A track record of leading cross-functional initiatives to measurable financial results, and of influencing senior leaders without direct authority
  • Strong financial acumen: comfortable building and pressure-testing a P&L, budget, or business case
  • Project management discipline, strong written and verbal communication, board-ready materials, and demonstrated judgment and discretion
