What We Need:

The Chief of Staff will report directly to the President and serve as a high-impact execution partner, helping to drive cross-functional initiatives, manage leadership workflows, and bring structure to day-to-day operations. This role is focused on creating leverage for the President and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) by ensuring priorities are organized, aligned, and moving forward.

This is a high-visibility opportunity ideal for a high-potential individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and is excited to take ownership, operate with urgency, and build a strong foundation for long-term growth and impact at Synapse.

What You Will Do:

  • Partner closely with the President to manage priorities, coordinate workflows, and ensure effective execution of key initiatives
  • Own ELT agendas, meeting preparation, and follow-ups to drive alignment and accountability across leadership
  • Own and drive OKR, MBR, and planning cadences by coordinating inputs, preparing stakeholders, and ensuring accountability and follow-through across teams
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives and special projects from ambiguity to execution, ensuring progress and clear outcomes
  • Plan and support leadership offsites and key internal meetings to improve organizational effectiveness
  • Act as a connector across teams, ensuring stakeholders are aligned and workstreams are moving forward
  • Identify gaps, remove blockers, and proactively step in to support business needs with urgency and resourcefulness
  • Support internal communications and preparation of materials for leadership discussions
  • Explore, test, and drive adoption of AI tools and internal workflows to improve efficiency across the organization
  • Assist with analytical work such as tracking progress, synthesizing insights, and supporting decision-making as needed

What You Have:

At Synapse Health we’ve intentionally built a culture of kindness, collaboration and creativity, and we consider those qualities to be table stakes for any new team member. Additional requirements include:

  • 6-10+ years of experience in consulting, business operations, corporate development, business development, or similar roles in fast-paced or high-growth environments
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguity, bring structure to complex situations, and drive workstreams forward
  • Experience supporting or driving OKR, MBR, or similar business review cadences, with a focus on coordination, stakeholder preparation, and accountability
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with experience managing multiple priorities, agendas, and follow-ups
  • Proven ability to influence without authority and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
  • High ownership mindset with a strong sense of urgency and proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Interest in leveraging AI tools and technology to improve workflows and drive efficiency
  • Strong analytical thinking skills, with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and presentation tools
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, drive work independently, and follow through without requiring constant direction in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA is a plus but not required
  • Healthcare or health tech experience preferred but not required

What Sets You Apart:

  • You’re highly organized and take pride in keeping people, projects, and priorities aligned
  • You see around corners and think two steps ahead
  • You’re a problem-solver who brings solutions, not just questions
  • You have a low ego and are willing to roll up your sleeves to do whatever the business needs
  • You build strong relationships and know how to influence without authority
  • You’re curious, proactive, and eager to experiment with new tools, including AI
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments and are motivated by ownership, impact, and growth
  • You want to grow into a senior operator within the company

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $133,600-$167,000 annually. This range reflects the anticipated compensation at the time of posting. Final compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, demonstrated skills, internal equity, and prevailing market conditions.
