As a pre-seed stage startup, we are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our AI, engineering, and product innovation efforts, bringing groundbreaking AI-driven creativity to the world of architecture and design.
Role Description
As CTO of Dwellci AI, you will be a founding team member responsible for shaping our technical strategy, product development, and AI innovation. You will lead the engineering team, oversee AI model development, and ensure the scalability and efficiency of our technology. This is an opportunity to define the future of AI in architectural design and build a world-class tech organization from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
Technology & AI Development
Architect and lead the development of Dwellci AI’s core AI-powered 3D modeling platform.
Oversee the research, design, and optimization of AI-driven generative design models.
Ensure scalability, performance, and security of the platform as we grow.
Stay at the forefront of AI, ML, and computational design advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
Leadership & Strategy
Set the technical vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing engineering and AI team.
Define best practices, coding standards, and architecture frameworks to support innovation and rapid iteration.
Product & Business Impact
Collaborate with the CEO, product team, and designers to translate architectural needs into groundbreaking AI tools.
Work closely with investors and advisors, communicating technical progress and opportunities.
Make strategic decisions about infrastructure, tooling, and partnerships to accelerate development.
Qualifications
Deep AI/ML Expertise – Proven experience in AI-driven generative models, computer vision, or computational design. Experience with tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Stable Diffusion, or custom LLMs is a huge plus.
Full-Stack & Platform Architecture – Strong background in building scalable SaaS platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with expertise in backend development (Python, Node.js) and frontend technologies (React, WebGL, or Three.js).
Technical Leadership – Experience leading engineering teams, building AI-first products, and setting technical direction in a fast-moving startup or tech-driven company.
Passion for Creativity & Design – Understanding of architectural workflows, 3D modeling, and design tools (e.g., Rhino, Grasshopper, Revit) is a major advantage.
Agility & Speed – Startup mentality: You move fast, break things, and optimize for innovation. You are comfortable iterating in an uncertain, high-growth environment.
Fundraising & Investor Relations (Bonus) – Experience working with VCs, pitching technical vision, and securing funding is a plus.
