Chase Payment Technology

Location: 14221 Dallas Parkway (Tollway and Spring Valley)

This opportunity will be heavily involved in working with classic ASP, not .NET.

Role: Classic ASP/.Net Developer

Top Skills: Classic ASP Dot Net; SQL Server; Oracle; SQL Queries and Prioritization; Remediation

  • Reason Open: He has to re-mediate 48 applications in an MVS Cyber Security remediation and also an IE 11 remediation to make his applications compatible; the business wants it ideally by November but he said that’s close to 16,000 hours left of work to do by 7 people so it won't happen.
  • Business: All the applications are internal and used for reporting, operation support maintenance for merchants, workflow management, add service request.
  • Nice to Haves: SSRS reporting; doing their own testing of development
  • Non-technical: good communication (the manager has a Masters in Comm so effective communication is important to him)
  • This opportunity will be heavily involved in working with classic ASP, not .NET.
  • Selected candidate will be critical to completing remediation of legacy asp coding that is no longer compatible within ASP to work with the latest version of Internet Explorer.
  • Create technical design recommendations for developing and integrating programs per written specifications.
  • Examine applications to ensure adherence to Application Engineering guidelines, processes, and procedures
  • Utilize multiple programming languages and software technologies
  • Test, modify, and implement application code
  • Evaluate service level issues to diagnose and address underlying system problems and inefficiencies
  • Engage third party suppliers on applications support issues.

  2. Duration:  6+ month contract (can go 18 months)
