We are seeking a relationship-oriented professional who excels at managing client conversations, understanding business challenges, guiding prospects through the engagement process, and building long-term trust. The Client Engagement Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for inbound opportunities, helping qualify leads, coordinate consultations, manage proposals, oversee pipeline activity, and support the growth of client relationships. The ideal candidate is comfortable speaking with attorneys, executives, IT leaders, HR professionals, and business owners during sensitive and often stressful situations.

This role is expected to evolve as the company grows and offers significant advancement opportunities into future client engagement and sales leadership positions.

Primary Responsibilities
Lead Qualification & Client Intake

·         Respond promptly to inbound inquiries

·         Conduct initial discovery and qualification calls

·         Gather information regarding client needs and objectives

·         Identify urgency and escalation requirements

·         Coordinate consultations with technical leadership

·         Maintain accurate intake documentation

Opportunity & Pipeline Management

·         Manage opportunities within Zoho CRM

·         Maintain pipeline accuracy and hygiene

·         Track opportunities through the sales lifecycle

·         Monitor proposal status and engagement progress

·         Ensure timely follow-up on active opportunities

Proposal & Contract Coordination

·         Coordinate proposal development activities

·         Manage proposal delivery and follow-up

·         Track contracts, engagement agreements, and signatures

·         Assist with retainer onboarding and engagement initiation

·         Coordinate with leadership regarding scope and pricing approvals

Client Relationship Management

·         Develop trusted relationships with clients and referral partners

·         Maintain regular communication throughout the engagement process

·         Conduct client follow-ups and relationship check-ins

·         Support client retention initiatives

·         Identify opportunities for additional services when appropriate

Retainer Development

·         Support Incident Response Retainer growth initiatives

·         Assist with retainer renewals and renewals tracking

·         Conduct outreach to existing clients regarding preparedness services

·         Support long-term client engagement strategies

Internal Coordination

·         Work closely with technical and investigative personnel

·         Coordinate onboarding activities for new engagements

·         Assist in refining sales and client engagement processes

  •   Support CRM reporting and business metrics

Requirements

·         3-7 years of experience in account management, client success, business development, consultative sales, or professional services

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Strong organizational and follow-up abilities

·         Experience managing client relationships and opportunities

·         Experience working with CRM platforms

·         Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

·         Strong professionalism and executive presence

·         Ability to communicate confidently with senior business leaders


Preferred Qualifications

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

·         Cybersecurity consulting

·         Incident response services

·         Managed Security Services (MSSP)

·         Managed IT Services (MSP)

·         IT consulting

·         Legal services

·         Insurance investigations

·         Compliance consulting

·         Risk management services

Familiarity with cybersecurity, digital forensics, legal investigations, or incident response is highly desirable but not required.



BenefitsCompensation & Benefits

$80,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability.

Expected Total Compensation:
Approximately $80,000 - $120,000+ annually based on experience, performance, and contribution to business growth.
