Build and deliver client-facing software solutions for institutional investment clients. Responsibilities include developing third-party data integrations and parsers, configuring reports, workflows, and FIX Gateway connectivity, resolving data quality issues, enhancing the core platform, and supporting Client Services with technical client requests. The role requires translating ambiguous business requirements into production-ready implementations while documenting integrations and resolutions for reusable onboarding knowledge.
About Valitana
Valitana is a rapidly growing FinTech company delivering cutting-edge SaaS solutions to institutional investors. Founded in 2017, our platform provides advanced financial analytics, trade flow insights, and portfolio management tools that empower our clients to make faster and more informed decisions while improving operational efficiency.
Valitana was awarded the 2026 Deal Catalyst CLO Award for Best CLO & Technology Provider – Innovation and serves approximately 100 institutional clients including CLO investors, CLO managers, hedge funds, asset managers, insurance companies, family offices, and broker dealers.
Position Overview
Valitana is hiring a Software Engineer to build and deliver client-facing solutions on Vantage, one of our core platforms. In this role you will work directly with clients, product & project managers, and business stakeholders to translate real-world requirements into robust, production-ready implementations — from third-party data integrations and reporting through workflow configuration and platform enhancements. You will own technical delivery for new client onboardings end to end and serve as a technical partner to our Client Services team on day-to-day client requests.
This role sits at the intersection of engineering and client delivery, and it is well suited to an engineer who enjoys solving concrete problems for identifiable users, is comfortable discussing data and workflows directly with clients, and wants to see their work reach production quickly.
Responsibilities

Employees in this role will work in the office Monday through Wednesday with the flexibility to work remotely Thursday and Friday.
Assessment and Automated Screening Tools
As part of this hiring process, you may be asked to complete a technical assessment administered through HackerRank, a third-party platform. By participating, advancing, or completing the assessment you are consenting to HackerRank possibly using automated features to evaluate or score the submitted work, and information about your submission is processed by that platform.
Categories of data processed: The code or written work you submit, assessment scores, completion time, and, if enabled, session activity data. Source of that data is the information you provide directly by completing the assessment.
How it is assessed: A Valitana employee reviews assessment results, and no hiring decision is made solely on the basis of an automated score. If you would like more information about how the assessment is evaluated contact Valitana Human Resources at [email protected].
Equal Opportunity and Accommodation
Valitana is an equal opportunity employer. We consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, pregnancy, veteran or military status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by federal or Connecticut law.
If you need a reasonable accommodation to apply, interview, complete an assessment, or otherwise participate in this hiring process, contact the Human Resources team at [email protected]. Requesting an accommodation will not affect how your application is considered.
