The Role

The Client Success Strategist plays a leading role in developing and managing client relationships, building client trust, and driving client value and success. This individual must be a marketer first and foremost.You will be the main point of contact for our clients’ marketing leadership, requiring a solid understanding of marketing and MarTech to facilitate informed, strategic conversations.

This individual will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders, managing and developing client accounts to initiate and maintain favorable relationships, leading the timely and successful delivery of client solutions, and liaising between clients and the rest of DemandLab’s high-performing team.

The Client Success Strategist will thrive in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of their accounts, career, and the team’s overall success. They bring bold, new ideas and strategies to the table for clients and find it easy to meet new people and push our teams and our clients in new directions.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor by building strong relationships and deep understanding of client goals, business, and industry.
  • Manage client engagements, including priorities, renewals, and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Align clients on digital strategy and translate business needs into clear execution roadmaps with technical and project teams.
  • Estimate resources and timelines, manage scope and dependencies, and ensure successful delivery.
  • Analyze complex business challenges and develop practical, data-driven solutions and recommendations.
  • Support client decision-making through cost/benefit analysis, stakeholder alignment, and solution evaluation.
  • Define success metrics, business requirements, and process improvements to drive measurable results.

Requirements
  • Strong background in B2B digital marketing and marketing technology (martech), including campaign strategy, execution, and performance reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Eloqua) and CRM systems (Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Proven ability to lead client engagements and executive-level conversations, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience translating business goals into data-driven strategies, roadmaps, and value cases.
  • Solid understanding of marketing operations, customer experience, and analytics/tracking.
  • Demonstrated project/program management experience in software or technology-driven environments.
  • Ability to identify growth and new business opportunities within existing client relationships.
  • 7+ years of relevant marketing or demand generation experience (or equivalent).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.

Salary Range

United States: USD $80,000 – $90,000 base salary

Canada: CAD $110,000 – $120,000 base salary

The salary range listed reflects the target range for this role at the time of posting. Final offers are determined based on factors such as location, relevant experience, skills, and overall fit.
