Opportunity Overview:
As a Clinical Content Analyst, you’ll play a key role in shaping how our clinical policies are developed, maintained, and communicated. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of clinical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and client experience. You’ll collaborate across teams, manage high‑volume policy updates, and help build processes that directly support both internal users and external clients.
This role offers the chance to grow expertise in healthcare policy operations, contribute to meaningful improvements in patient and provider communications, and be part of a team dedicated to delivering high‑quality, transparent clinical content.
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate client communications: Develop and distribute client‑specific newsletters with Cohere policy updates, including monthly release management.
- Produce client policy reports: Prepare ad hoc policy reports tailored to client needs.
- Manage policy version control: Track and maintain version history for each client, ensuring clarity on live and approved versions.
- Support Provider Success: Collaborate on Zendesk policy lists for each client, including Jira ticket management and monthly updates.
- Oversee policy implementation tracking: Manage ticket workflows to coordinate policy implementation activities across key internal teams.
- Conduct policy gap analyses: Run client‑specific gap analyses to identify coverage or compliance issues.
- Provide compliance support: Deliver ad hoc administrative support for policy reviews and approvals.
- Maintain knowledge libraries: Assist the Clinical Content Project Manager in keeping Confluence library pages and policy code databases current.
- Manage high-volume updates: Support the accurate and timely rollout of policy updates on a monthly basis.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, or related field with 2–4 years of experience in clinical policy, utilization management, or healthcare operations
- Strong understanding of CMS guidelines, NCDs/LCDs, and payer policy frameworks
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency with collaboration tools (Confluence, Jira, Zendesk, or similar)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex clinical content into clear, structured outputs
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Drive, and project management software
- Passionate about improving the U.S. healthcare system and helping ensure every patient receives the best care possible
- Self-directed, confident, and thrive working in a fast-paced startup environment

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 annually; as part of a total benefits package which includes health insurance, 401k and bonus. In accordance with state applicable laws, Cohere is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and internal alignment.
