The Clinical Quality Data Analyst provides insight through data analysis to drive quality patient care. This position collects and records varied departmental data and key operational measures, and verifies the accuracy and validity of source data. The Analyst maintains, revises and develops system databases for analysis of performance improvement opportunities and reports trended data at appropriate forums.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT 

  • Practice Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • No Weekends, Evenings, or Holidays
  • Will be covering both the Dyer & Michigan City PACE locations
  • Perform data or information collection from various sources, which may include chart audits, internally and externally derived reports, regulatory entities, or other external sources or agencies as assigned.
  • Validate externally reported data with internal source data.
  • Analyze data in support of other multidisciplinary teams in the evaluation of quality outcomes including, but not limited to, medical departments and sections, nursing systems, and ancillary clinical services.
  • Support quality committees and subcommittees as assigned which may include preparation, reporting, recording, and correspondence activities.
  • Utilize appropriate software and statistical database programs required for job duties.
  • Provide support to the Quality department functions as assigned.
  • Provide support with accreditation and certification requirements.
  • Provides support and expertise in other areas as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree- IT, Healthcare Administration or Business- Required
  • EPIC Report Writing & Sequel Certificate- Preferred
  • 1 Year Working with Frail and Elderly- Required
  • 2 Years  IT, Healthcare Administration or Business Analyst- Required
  • 2 Years Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)- Required
  • Auto Insurance- Required
  • Driver's License- Required
