Job Description

Duration: 6 Months+ extension

Location: Remote

Start date: Immediately

Placement:  Asset Management / Equity Quant Research

Must have’s:

·         Hands-on DevOps Architect with extensive experience across complex environments.

·         Strong Hands-on IaC and DevOps design, implementation/deployment experience with CloudFormation/Terraform, Python, Jenkins

o    Migration of windows-based platform to AWS – troubleshooting, performance tuning, how to rehydrate windows on the cloud

·         AWS Core Services: 

o    Core Networking / VPC, Route 53, Elastic Load Balancing

o    AWS EKS, ECS, ECR, Lambda, Micro Services

o    AWS Security Controls, Guardrails development and IAM policies

·         Develop CloudFormation templates with Windows

·         Provide recommendations and advice on performance tuning and best practices for Windows to EC2.

·         Provide recommendations and advice on resiliency, monitoring dashboards, and overall reliability and availability of the platform.

·         Review problem areas, troubleshoot, and provide recommendations for remediation and/or solutions.

·         Work in conjunction with AWS Solutions Architects and services experts for research.

·         Apply Devops skills in creating and modifying code pipelines and operating procedures.
