About the Role: Fragomen, an AM Law 100 Firm and the leading global immigration services provider, is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, managing, and automating scalable and secure cloud infrastructure, CI / CD pipelines, and monitoring systems. You will work closely with IT Architecture, development, security, and operations teams as well as external technology partners to ensure reliable software delivery and infrastructure health.
How will you make a difference as an Infrastructure Cloud DevOps Engineer at Fragomen?
Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure in Azure.
Develop and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep and ARM.
Automate provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and incident response processes.
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Implement and maintain observability tools (logging, monitoring, alerting) using tools like Azure Monitor, Splunk, Cloudwatch, or other applicable tools.
Ensure cloud infrastructure is secure, compliant, and cost-efficient in line with Fragomen IT Security hardening guidelines and requirements.
Collaborate with software engineering and QA teams to streamline development workflows.
Contribute to incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements.
Maintain documentation and runbooks for operational procedures.
Provide training and knowledge transfer to other teams as applicable.
Leverage your valuable skills and experience to make an impact at Fragomen:
3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
Deep understanding of cloud platforms, with exposure to Azure.
Strong scripting skills in Python, or similar.
Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Cloudformation, etc.).
Experience building and maintaining CI / CD pipelines.
Solid understanding of Linux system administration and networking.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of monitoring / logging frameworks (e.g., LogicMonitor, Prometheus, Grafana, etc).
Strong security mindset (IAM, secrets management, network segmentation, etc.).
Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
FinOps understanding and best practices with experience in performance or cost optimization within Cloud environments
Experience with serverless, or edge computing.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
Experience with GitOps tools.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments.
Proactive in problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Passionate about automation, reliability, and developer experience.
