As a Cloud Infrastructure Lead Sr. Manager supporting the IHS EHR program, you will be trusted to manage a variety of topics and efforts to ensure the success of our customer.This position is fully remote, US BASED. This role requires you to obtain and maintain an in-depth Public Trust Level 5. This investigation will review personal and criminal behavior, financial conduct, foreign influence, as well as other adjudications.HOW A CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE LEAD SR. MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:- Lead and grow a Cloud Infrastructure team in the broader program Engineering organization tasked with implementing requirements to meet customer and program objectives
- In partnership with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and IHS subject matter experts, develop cloud hosting, infrastructure, and network approaches to support implementation of Oracle Health (Cerner) products across the IHS EHR modernization program
- Support cloud infrastructure topics across both customer cohort Deployment and Sustainment (support) phases of the program
- Lead efforts to understand, document and implement policies and processes for digital certificate lifecycle management
- Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and automation practices, providing recommendations for program-wide adoption
- Guide incident response and problem‑management activities related to cloud infrastructure and platform operations
- Provide senior‑level technical oversight during audits, accreditation reviews, and compliance assessments
- Participate in cross-functional teams where efforts may involve cloud infrastructure considerations
- Ensure cloud infrastructure design simultaneously conforms to FedRAMP controls and IHS enterprise standards
- Provide tasks and timelines to program schedule for cloud infrastructure projects
- Understand and effectively communicate technical status to various stakeholders
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Experience with FedRAMP authorized cloud-based architectures (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google)
- Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of equivalent work experience
- Ability to lead a technical team of 3-6 individuals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to produce high-quality documentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and achieve successful outcomes
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance. This includes a background investigation and fingerprinting
- Ability to travel 25% of the year, if needed
- Experience with Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium EHR software suite preferred
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) design/operations experience preferred
- Exposure to customer-managed cloud tenants
- Experience with managing digital certificate lifecycle
- Prior Federal health experience (e.g., VA, DoW EHR, HHS agencies)
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with internal/external teams including key stakeholders, various customer teams, and/or executive leadership
- Ability to work and support the work of others across multiple U.S. time zones
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within tight deadlines, following detailed written policies, processes, procedures, and work instructions
- Must be able to obtain a SSBI (T5) public trust clearance, which requires residency in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years.
