About the role

Concept Plus is seeking a Cloud Networking Engineer to be responsible for supporting the sustainment of Applications/Services providing the backend administration and support in client Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Assist in defining requirements, designing and building data center technology components and testing efforts. The Cloud Networking Engineer designs, builds, maintains, and optimizes an organization's cloud infrastructure (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) by migrating systems, ensuring security, scalability, and performance, and collaborating with developers to create efficient, resilient cloud solutions, handling everything from automation to cost management and disaster recovery.


What you'll do

The Cloud Networking Engineer designs, builds, maintains, and optimizes an organization's cloud infrastructure (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) by migrating systems, ensuring security, scalability, and performance, and collaborating with developers to create efficient, resilient cloud solutions, handling everything from automation to cost management and disaster recovery. Provides knowledge in network design, architecture, and administration. The Cloud Networking Engineer may participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Monitor existing systems
  • Oversee the deployment and installation of new network hardware and software
  • Provide technical directions to IT support staff
  • Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met
  • Evaluate hardware and software and resolve LAN/MAN/WAN network related problems
  • Network Senior is competent in subject matter and concepts and may lead individuals assisting in the work.


Required Qualifications

  • US Citizen
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5+ years’ practical experience with:
    • Linux, Oracle Database, Red Hat OS Administration, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Terraform, Ansible, Cloudbees Jenkins, Automation and Cloud Native Architectures
  • Strong verbal, written, organizational and documentation skills.
  • Current CompTIA Security+ Certification or equivalent IASAE L2 certification
