What would you do?
Job Description:
Position: Cloud operation Lead with Devops
Location: Washington DC (onsite)
Fulltime
Required Technical Skills
Design and implement scalable AWS architectures using EC2, VPC, ALB, Route 53, S3, RDS, and IAM
Strong experience with Terraform and cloud automation
Expertise in containerization and Kubernetes
Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
Strong knowledge of cloud security, disaster recovery, and high-availability design, Security first approach
Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as CloudWatch and Datadog
Leadership Requirements
Lead a global/offshore CloudOps and DevOps team
Provide technical direction and architectural governance
Drive cloud modernization and automation initiatives
Act as the escalation point for critical production issues
Communicate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
Candidates should possess at least 2 of the following AWS/Cloud certifications. Certifications obtained 3-4+ years ago (including expired certifications) are acceptable and often preferred, as they demonstrate sustained experience working in cloud environments over an extended period. Certification course completion alone is not sufficient
