This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Driftwood Golf and Ranch Club, set outside of Austin, TX.
Driftwood Golf and Ranch Club is seeking a Comfort Station Supervisor to join the Food and Beverage Service Department.
The Comfort Station Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient functioning of our Comfort Station operations including exceptional hospitality and service, inventory management, administrative support, compliance and safety, and communication and coordination. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain proper staffing levels in all areas under their supervision.
• Oversee and ensure proper etiquette and consistent bar practices are maintained including but not limited to cleanliness, consistency and daily duties.

• Assist in creating the weekly schedule, tracking time off requests and event dates to maintain necessary staffing
• Assist with onboarding new employees; training and education of Driftwood standards.
• Supervising, leading and communicating effectively with all service team members.
• Work with Food and Beverage management to create standard operating procedures to create consistency through the various activations on the golf course.
• Keep a fresh, high quality and rotating inventory on all golf course stations.
• Communicate orders to appropriate people to ensure pars are maintained and quality is sustained.
• Assist with weekly ordering, oversight of deliver orders and monitoring correct invoice delivery.

• Act as closing manager for Comfort Stations as scheduled.
• Ensure all areas are kept clean and organized. Provide necessary tools and equipment to make sure these areas are pleasant to the members and their guests.
• Responsible for event activations on the golf course. Make sure they are set and complete by the necessary time. Make sure set up and break down are completed in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the creative event planning, comfort station layouts and unreasonable hospitality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of golf course amenity areas at all times.

• Promptly report any hazards, unsafe working conditions, or equipment which requires repair/maintenance.

• Adhere to all Department of Health and food safety standards.

• Comply with company and department policies and procedures at all times.

• Demonstrate sense of urgency for responding to guest needs during all interactions.

• Report to work in specified proper, provided attire in compliance with club standards for appearance and uniform.

• Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the food and beverage industry, with a strong understanding of inventory management, procurement processes, and administrative procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.

• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
• Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
