Job Purpose

As the Commerce Capability Leader, you will be the entrepreneurial force responsible for transforming our existing commerce capabilities into a high-growth business line. This is a high-impact role for a visionary leader who can straddle the line between strategic growth and technical depth.

You will own the commercial growth strategy—directly sourcing deals, building a robust sales pipeline, and driving market expansion. Beyond growth, you will architect the future of our capability, expanding our footprint across both B2B and B2C domains, with a heavy emphasis on modern composable and headless commerce ecosystems alongside traditional enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively source, scope, and close high-value enterprise commerce opportunities, taking full ownership of the revenue and pipeline targets for the capability.
  • Design and execute a comprehensive Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy that positions the firm as a premier partner for both B2B and B2C commerce transformations.
  • Transform the current commerce team into a highly profitable, scalable, and cross-functional business line, managing the capability’s P&L, resource utilization, and talent acquisition.
  • Cultivate and leverage strategic relationships with key software vendors, platforms (e.g., Salesforce, commercetools, Shopify Plus), and system integrators to generate robust co-sell opportunities.
  • Attract, mentor, and retain top-tier talent across commerce consulting, architecture, and delivery engineering to support a high-performing global delivery model.
  • Champion modern commerce trends, guiding clients and internal teams through the transition from monolithic architectures to Composable, Headless, and MACH-based ecosystems.
  • Establish blueprints and framework offerings that seamlessly address both complex B2B business logic (contract pricing, workflows) and high-scale B2C consumer experiences.
  • Provide executive oversight on critical, high-risk client engagements, ensuring technical excellence, strategic alignment, and delivery quality.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 12+ years of experience in technology consulting or professional services, with at least 5+ years in a VP or Director-level role successfully managing and scaling a commerce-focused capability or business unit.
  • A verifiable track record as a rainmaker, with proven success sourcing, shaping, and closing multi-million dollar commerce deals and consistently hitting pipeline and revenue targets.
  • Deep, end-to-end knowledge of the global commerce landscape, with demonstrated expertise executing both complex B2B models and high-scale B2C consumer experiences.
  • Strong technical fluency in modern commerce paradigms, specifically composable commerce, microservices, APIs, headless architectures (MACH), alongside deep familiarity with enterprise suites like Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
  • Established strategic relationships within the commerce platform and partner ecosystem (e.g., Salesforce, commercetools, BigCommerce, Shopify Plus, Contentful).
  • Proven leadership capability in building and mentoring cross-geographical, multi-disciplinary teams across onshore, offshore, and nearshore global delivery models.
  • Exceptional executive presence, with the ability to command a room of C-suite stakeholders, build deep client trust, and translate complex technical transformations into clear business value.
  • An active profile in the commerce community, demonstrated through thought leadership, whitepapers, or industry speaking engagements.
What we offer in return
  • Global Collaboration: The opportunity to work daily with diverse and talented professionals across the globe.
  • Off-the-Charts Career Growth: Сlear career path and a performance review system, career coaching, training and certifications, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
  • Well-being Is Top Priority: Parental leave, paid time off, comprehensive health and medical plans.
  • Real Work-Life Balance: Dependent on location, we offer remote, in-office, or hybrid working modes; flexible hours; work-life balance support on every stage and level.
