Aypa Power seeks a detail-oriented Analyst for our Commercial team. This role involves identifying and evaluating power market opportunities in alignment with our project portfolio, managing bids, and optimizing internal workflows. Responsibilities include supporting commercial origination by coordinating bids, streamlining processes, improving data organization, and using automation to boost efficiency. 

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, and experience in bid tracking and proposal development. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support the full bid lifecycle, including identifying opportunities, coordinating internal reviews, tracking deadlines, and ensuring submission compliance;
  • Identify and implement workflow enhancements, process automation, and internal collaboration tools to improve the efficiency of tracking, assessing, responding to, and reporting on offtake opportunities;
  • Track and analyze procurement outcomes, gathering insights to refine future proposals and improve success rates;
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify future commercial opportunities, buyer’s needs, and innovative bid structures;
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and key insights for management;
  • Support the integration of commercial data with cross-functional internal platforms and tools to ensure consistency across teams. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Technology, Engineering, Energy Markets, Data Analytics, or a related field;
  • 1-4 years of experience in energy markets, commercial analytics, consulting, origination, or a related field;
  • Familiarity with renewable energy markets, storage technologies, or power purchase agreements is a plus;
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with an ability to synthesize complex market data, preferably within the renewable, battery storage, or power markets;
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to support commercial deal flow, opportunity tracking, bid development and drive internal alignment and process improvements;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing presentations and reports;
  • Experience with CRM tools, bid tracking platforms, or project proposal development;
  • Proficiency in data organization, process, and visualization (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar);
  • Experience working with the following tools is strongly preferred: Microsoft’s Power Platform, Power Automate, Dynamics365, Copilot, relational databases, Power Query, GIS, API integrations. 

Compensation and Location: 

  • Salary: A base salary commensurate with experience.
  • Bonus: An annual bonus will be awarded based on both individual performance as well as the overall success of the business.
