Job Summary:

Acrisure is seeking an Account Manager to join our growing team in Florida.

Responsibilities:

New Business

  • Assists clients with coverage changes in an automated environment supported by an imaging system; determines whether delayed or advanced billing is appropriate and invoices accordingly. Uses each client contact as an opportunity to review the entire account and round it out.

  • Informs and educates clients about policy coverages, changes, exclusions, and insurance coverage needs.

  • Provides technical support to producer(s) to benefit clients and support the agency’s strategic business goals.

  • Obtains client signatures on applications as necessary; follows up to ensure timely receipt of quotations and policies.

  • Manages clients’ needs by producing binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, and related items, verifying their accuracy.

Retention
  • Prepares summaries of insurance as needed for account reviews.

  • Maintains and updates electronic and client activity files.

  • Verifies policy and policy change information, facilitating corrections when necessary.

  • Processes incoming mail requests, responding promptly and appropriately.

  • Verifies the accuracy of all direct-billed cancellations and takes appropriate corrective action when needed.

  • Uses the agency credit and collection policy when invoicing and pursuing prompt payments.

  • Processes and follows up on cancellation requests to carriers to ensure accurate and timely resolution; maintains agency financial equity whenever possible.

Personal and Organizational Development
  • Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities.

  • Maintains a cordial and effective relationship with clients, co-workers, and other business contacts.

  • Stays informed regarding industry trends, new products, legislation, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.

  • Interacts effectively with others by utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully, and providing information and guidance as needed to achieve agency business goals.

  • Performs technical tasks to expedite client services.

  • Performs other duties as assigned. This description is not intended as a contract and is subject to change.

Requirements
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager supporting clientele within Florida.

  • Full knowledge of insurance products, markets, and usage.

  • Active P&C 2-20 license required.

  • Applied Epic proficiency preferred.

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • CIC or CRIS designations preferred.
