Overview of the Position Responsibilities:

The Commercial Sales Specialist is responsible for the strategic growth and development of the commercial customer base within the Bluepeak network footprint. This role exercises independent judgment and discretion in identifying opportunities, developing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and achieving assigned revenue objectives. What You Will Do:

  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales revenue and growth objectives through proactive prospecting, account development, and strategic sales execution.
  • Identify, target, and secure new commercial accounts within the Bluepeak service footprint using independent judgment and sales expertise.
  • Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of commercial accounts to maximize customer retention, satisfaction, and long-term value.
  • Independently plan and execute daily sales activities, including prospecting, cold calling, and pipeline management, with accurate documentation in the CRM system.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of data, internet, video, and voice products, including applications and competitive positioning, to effectively consult with customers and recommend solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and ensuring timely resolution of service-related concerns.
  • Qualify, manage, and prioritize sales leads to optimize conversion rates and revenue outcomes.
  • Prepare sales proposals, pricing recommendations, and competitive analyses tailored to customer needs and market conditions.
  • Analyze sales performance, forecast results, and adjust strategies as needed to meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support customer success and business goals.
  • Travel up to 25% as required to support sales activities and customer engagement.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned in support of departmental and organizational objectives.

What You Will Need:

  • Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in sales strategy and customer management.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze market conditions, customer needs, and competitive factors to influence sales outcomes.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Education/Experience:
  • Highschool diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ years of experience in sales, preferably in telecommunications.
  • Computer Skills:
  • MS Office Suite: Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, Excel, OneNote.
  • Software: ICOMS and Salesforce.
