Drive subscriber growth and product penetration through in-person, field-based sales in assigned MDU communities. Conduct door-to-door outreach, community events, and property engagement; onboard customers; manage orders in ICOMS; partner with account managers and property teams to upsell, support launches, and improve customer experience.
The Community Engagement Advisor – MDU & Community Engagement is responsible for driving subscriber growth, increasing product penetration, and delivering a high-touch customer experience across assigned multi-dwelling unit (MDU) communities. This role plays a critical part in Blue Stream Fiber’s continued expansion, supporting both new property launches and ongoing business-as-usual (BAU) operations.
This role is ideal for a motivated, results-driven sales professional who thrives in a dynamic, field-based environment and is passionate about customer engagement, teamwork, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Engagement
- Drive sales and subscriber growth through direct, in-person engagement within assigned communities .
- Conduct door-to-door outreach, community events, and property engagement initiatives.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate Blue Stream Fiber solutions (video, internet, voice).
- Upsell and cross-sell services to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Educate residents on product offerings, pricing, and service enhancements.
- Partner with the Account Manager to build strong, long-term relationships with property managers as a trusted sales advisor.
- Serve as the dedicated sales representative for assigned properties, ensuring leasing offices are stocked with marketing materials that drive adoption, visibility, and revenue growth.
Community & Property Management
- Assist during town halls to educate residents on new service availability.
- Support onboarding and installation phases.
- Serve as the on-site sales subject matter expert throughout property launches and conversions
Operational Execution
- Create and manage customer orders within the ICOMS billing system.
- Utilize internal systems for data entry, customer registration, and account updates.
- Request from Account Manager or Field Sales (Manager or Supervisor) who will submit and coordinate marketing collateral requests (flyers, welcome letters, etc.).
- Provide feedback to improve sales processes and customer experience.
Strategy & Market Awareness
- Stay informed on competitive offerings, market trends, and industry developments.
- Contribute to community-level sales strategies and penetration goals.
- Partner with leadership to drive performance and achieve revenue targets.
Training & Support
- Collaborate with Field Sales Manager to meet and exceed sales objecti
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Must live in the Broward County, Florida area
- Minimum 2+ years of sales experience (telecom experience preferred).
- Proven success in consultative, field-based sales environments.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to manage conflict and build relationships in diverse environments
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High level of accountability and performance ownership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
